I just noticed a nice big change to this site, being that our imagines AND YouTube videos NOW automatically embedded to your posts. Where before, the [img] or [youtube] brackets would never work and you had to click on the link anyway.
Just wanted to acknowledge that awesome job!

There was a custom mod in place for image suppression that we will attempt to re-install.
One step at a time.
We are updating PHP versions due to hosting company demands. Some customizations for image suppression were in the files updated to work with PHP 7.4.
We are currently tracing errors to correct those first, Then on to the mods. |

Lakers Reddit is good.
I would settle for this site not looking like it was made in 1998, and held together on band-aids and duct tape.
This is a nice step in the right direction.

But honestly, the images will probably lag the page loads a bit.

 LG’s clutter-free and much easier to read than other sites. Not to mention, the possibility of a certain troll in the game threads having the ability to spam images (likely NSFW) will be a headache. |

I hope they are able to fix this soon.
The ability to embed images would quickly become the visual equivalent of everyone starting a new thread for each of their posts because everyone thinks what they have to say is so unique and special. |

Please post all feedback here.
We avoided doing upgrades in the past because of how massive the change (on the backend) would be during this process. We are going to just plow through it, so note that some changes you see now may only be temporary.
But once everything gets stable and cleaned up it will allow us to make refinements in the future that we weren't able to previously. |

Sounds good. As I said, I hope the new images part stays.

You just need mods that are actually active to get rid of those people. Not a big deal.
I wonder when was the last time the site has hired new mods? Feels like over a decade.

Would trade any and all image/video embed functionality in a heartbeat (and forever) in exchange for a mobile-responsive site. That said all love to LG - never change. Except with the mobile version. No really.
