Time to start talking about your coach bashing

This is why you pick a young coach and you stick with him while he learns now the team is playing motivated basketball under him

We don’t even have LeBron James

Oh please…team won despite poor coaching. Hope Ham continues to improve. Rooting for him. You trying to get credit for people calling out questionable moves. No credit given.

Ham did well with the zone defense.
That confuse the hell out of some inexperienced Toronto players.
But it ain’t gonna fly against good experienced teams

He really got bailed out by Reaves, who just keep making plays after plays out of nothing, and a lot of AND1 too.
Later on DLo come in and turn into Curry.

I feel like today success is fools gold.

It is gonna encourage meathead to keep using the 3 guards lineup.

Schroder made some terrible shots that he had no business taking.
And dribble the air out of the ball in some possessions.
His role is ideally just a sixth man, we can’t have him playing starter minute with DLo.

And we made zero adjustment against Barnes.

Continue to let him shoot over our smaller guards.

People gonna cry that I am gonna say this.

Our players really saved this game in spite of Ham meathead

It's not fool's gold because AD was neutralized and Bron wasn't there.

As long as one star rises every game we will be fine.

The triple guard lineup will not work.

Maybe for like a super short stretch.

We will get out board so bad.

YES YES AND YES.

Saying it in caps before some idiots in here start spewing nonsense and say AD was soft and not aggressive

No, AD had a really solid game at the defense end. Raptors were double and triple teaming him so other guys carried.
Perfect game for Davis. He did what was needed.

Having no system.

It depends on the opponent, and it depends on how well does guards are shooting

Whenever you’ve got D’Angelo Russell going nuclear like that it’s hard to stop

We didn’t even bring Anthony Davis back onto the court until very late into his normal minutes. That’s because we were destroying them with the lineup we had.

By the way, that’s good coaching to going with a group that’s doing really well on the floor and not messing with the chemistry of it. Just wanted to point that out.

Shout-out to the CROWD, they were very vocal tonight.
Constant chants of "DEFENSE, DEFENSE" provided energy to the teams effort.

Eldest son want that DLO jersey

Daughter wants a DLO jersey (also wants a RUI jersey for non basketball reasons 😏)

Twin boys both want DLO jerseys

Like damn can Rob hurry up and extend DLO’s contract already! That’s a lot of NBA Store purchases without any reassurances he’ll be here after this season 🤣😂🤣

Steve Smith praised him too for not forcing it versus the box and one and swarm with the tear he was on. Instead he just played defense and he was one of the main guys cheering when the bench were playing.

If AD was Jokic and he stuck to just passing he would be praised. But because it’s not a good narrative sadly people will critique him while ignoring his defense he played. Especially the ground he covered when the Lakers went to a zone.

I am sure getting Schroder out earlier wouldn’t have hurt us.
He was slowly destroying some possessions.
And he hit some really really terrible shots.

The momentum was all Reaves and Russell mix in with some Vando defense.

Have you noticed that Ham only do well with players that can make plays themselves, whether defensive or offensive.

Even Schroder do make some plays, though he is inefficient.

But players that needs a system to perform like Beasley and Hui.

He can’t find a ways to make them succeed without Lebron.

The criticism ignores that in that zone they moved Dennis to whatever side Barnes was in and he distrusted the hell out of him after Barness killed them to start the third. It’s like ignoring Dennis in the Memphis game took Bane the whole fourth and Bane didn’t score after the 3 layups Brown and Reaves gave up once he took him because he just played ball denial the whole fourth. Dennis got his hands on so many 50/50 balls, deflected passes, and made Barnes stop posting up because he wouldn’t allow the dribble into the free throw line area of the zone. Dennis played a hell of a game on both ends

I just gave Ham credit for his last timeout call.

It was when he let the Raptors go on the 17 point run that was frustrating

You do that in the playoffs and you are f&cked... especially if its the play in

Ham didn’t Let them do anything.
The Raptors are a good defensive team
Basketball is a game of runs
They destroyed them in the fourth quarter when it matter
Ham. Gets some credit for that.

He coaches like Doc Rivers. I’m not ready to call him there yet because he actually has to do some more winning but his style is the same.

If you are 60-22 with Shaq and Kobe or Kobe and Pau you can go Phil on the timeouts.

When you have a young team you can't let a good team go on runs like that.

Ok, I am going to call you out. Ham took a timeout in the 3rd quarter at 10:06. You are talking nonsense.

Loving this new team outlook. But not happy with Ham's 3 guard lineups and having no answer for Raps taking AD out of the game offensively. Lucky Dlo caught fire at the end. With that said this is 100% a team I can root for.

So its just one game, but the last 6 minutes of that 4th? D'lo was giving me CP3 vibes with pace, decision making, and hitting those shots.

Ham did have an answer

He played a lineup of Wenyen Gabriel and turned the game around

The only way to stop a team from triple teaming one of your players is for the other players to make plays which they did
