I expected dejected lame AD and that's exactly what we got. He never brings it after a bad performance, he doubles down with the apathy as if to say "I'm a superstar, I'm above all this" |
I actually think that nonchalance is a mask for real mental weakness.
I think he is scared of the moment. Easier in the bubble. Jamal Murray was the second coming in the bubble...so were others. AD hasn't done that under the real big lights. |
In the championship season he almost always brought a very good game after a bad one.
Has not been like that since then. Frankly, inexcusable for 3 of past 4 games he has either just been offensive on the offensive end, or just had some real bad mental breakdowns (last game).
I'm not on the "trade him" boat, I still believe he can do it and perform well, I just do not have any answers to what is going on with him other than maybe he would be better with a Center playing next to him over the long haul versus him being C...it's as good a guess as any.
