Just so this user is forced to give Darvin his flowers.

- first playoff win on the road (those are the toughest)
- play-in #7 seed vs #2 seed
- no injuries to key players on either team

I don’t understand the hatred

- is the team not enjoyable to watch?
- has the team not exceeded your expectations?

Darvin inherited a roster that had won just 33 games the season before. He didn’t inherit the #1 seed.

The concept is quite simple and the sports media has recognized it and are starting to report on it more and more. One of the reporters remarked today that the Lakers have been outscored by 40pts in the post season and have a horrible +/- without AD using the LBJ/Rui/TBjr/Beasley/Schro line ups. They also reported that Memphis was the #1 team in points scored in the paint and Mo may improve in that area with low risk of having a worse impact than Beasley. It has also been reported that LBJ looks 38 years old recently and the team may benefit from additional rest from him during the game to conserve his energy to close out the game instead of wasting playing time ineffectually and center when the team loses leads and get farther behind.

None of that means it is the right opinion…just because the media is starting to say what we’ve been suggesting for months…it still could be wrong or even right. But whether it’s right or wrong or if you disagree or not, it should be NOT difficult to understand. We explain and have been presenting our stance very clearly with logic and reasoning. Again, doesn’t mean it’s right, we’re all speculating, but it should be fairly easy for anyone to see where we are coming from.

BTW…you know you are full of BS to say no injuries. Do you think we have been too stupid to know? Or have you just missed that part? Jalen/Naz/Adams/Clarke/Ja

Also…we are winning in spite of Ham’s apparent line up incompetence and are afraid that even if we win this series it may prevent the ultimate success we are looking for…not just a playin win or a 1stRd win. It looks like with better coaching the team would have a chance at a lot more.

Yea…sticky this thread…but we should be careful what we ask for. If you calling out people for these reasonable and logical opinions then you should be prepared to do what you are asking others to do if proven wrong.

If they lose tomorrow because ham stick with his small ball lineup, no way they will win game 7 with the same rotation. 3-1 choked incoming.

AD willing to play 48 minutes just to stop Ham Meathead from using small ball 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The thing is, not only does this subject AD to a greater chance of injury based on how often he goes down in great pain, it also drains him of energy to be effective in the all-too-important final eight minutes of a game.

I mean, is the plan for AD to play 48 minutes literally every single game for the rest of the playoffs to give ourselves a chance to win? It's beyond ridiculous when the better answer is for someone to stand up to Ham and get him to stop with the three guard line ups when AD sits:

- Play Mo for some sets to potentially stabilize the defensive unit. It can't be worse than that catastrophe we saw the other night when AD sat.

- Alternatively, run three forwards with two guards. A front court of Lebron and Rui is made exponentially worse defensively when the third member is a guard like Troy (he's a SG!). Instead, add Gabriel or Vandy to that pairing with TBJ at the 2-slot and Dennis at the point for better defensive balance until AD can get back in.

We do or die right now by Ham's defensive rotations if we are able to stay relatively healthy.

Yeah all the momentum will be gone and Memphis gonna thrive on home crowd. It's gotta be this game

“We had some untimely possessions where we didn’t finish with a rebound,” Ham said. “They were able to get one, maybe two offensive rebounds in that stretch. A team like that, they thrive off those hustle plays, the 50-50 balls. They have enough scoring output where, if you give them second and third chances at it, they’re going to make you pay. I just thought some of those unfortunate defensive possessions where we couldn’t finish with a rebound hurt us.

“But, overall, our guys came out tonight to compete and, again, we didn’t make enough shots. Some untimely turnovers and some untimely lack of defensive rebounding.”

- Hamster Meathead

WTF, he's clueless as fvck. Blame your rotation. What would you expect with Rui/Bron against JJJ/Tillman, dominate the boards; at the same time Ja is attacking them in the paint? lol

I will not be surprised if they choke this 3-1 lead with a meathead coach like ham.

Exactly. What did he say that was wrong the Lakers shot poorly you’re not gonna be a team that is nearly undefeated at home whenever you can’t put the ball in the hoop.

lmfao, so you expecting Bron to rebound 20+ rebounds again? Com'on bron will never be a big center, what more at his current age. Ham doesnt have accountability but instead blame it on the undersized player's lack of rebounding and shooting, then why kept on using Beasley?) lol

He knows what is the problem and he's not doing something about it. Meathead doesn't know how to adjust. If this is vogel, we gonna see an adjustment every game.

I didn’t say that I said, what did you expect Darvin ham to say while I was talking to the media

No, LeBron is probably not gonna have another 20 rebound game again, but you saw in this game that Darvin recognized it and gave winning Gabriel more minutes, right?

I will say it again if the team doesn’t hit shots, it does not matter. The team did not play well outside of Anthony Davis.

I agree with that tonight’s game is a must win the Lakers have to close it out at home because if they have to go on the road back to Memphis, they’re gonna lose the series
