Alright another game where the home team is coming off a long west coast trip.
Hopefully we take advantage, because we need it if we want a shot at 7 seed. |

This game is probably the best test we've had so far. A real litmus test game. Excited/nervous. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Nah. I think if we're healthy, we'll win #18. No more tests needed. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

We probably get destroyed here. Wolves are way too big, and we have no backup centers. This is going to be ugly. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot

DLo off the latest injury report. Davis probably and LeBron questionable. _________________ 14-5-3-12

Usually it’s three point spamming that kills us. I think we can survive the wolves size, Gobert and Reid are good but not like great scorers. Towns is a diff story, he will be a problem.
I still think we have more overall talent and if Ham manages the rotations well we can get this one. |

Wonder who guards Towns. I actually think Lebron could do a good job on him. |

Wolves are a huge mismatch for us. Their size bother us. They have range and speed in their backcourt, and KAT just likes beating up on AD. This is the game where we could really use Bamba.
That said, we are a different team now, so lets see how we do against a team that has dominated us, is relatively hot right now, and is battling for that post-season ranking.
The T-wolves game will tell me a hell of a lot about how much the Lakers have progress, and how good this Lakers team actually is (or not).
Stay tuned... |

I know every game feels like this, but this is one of the most important games of the season, if not the most important. And it's going to be a tough one... _________________ Austin Reaves

Get Rudy gobert involved on PnRs, the suns did that last night. Whoever Conley is guarding should start PNR with AD |

I think Lakers can win this game. But have to ask. What LBJ have you been watching? LBJ is at this point in his a career considered a very sub par defender. But yet he is going to guard well against a guy with significantly more size and extremely versatile? Towns would hang 40+ on us if LBJ is guarding him. LBJ is defying logic with how good he still is offensively but there is no mistaking, at this point LBJ is a very very sub par defender and the advance metrics confirm this. He rarely if ever is asked to guard the best or even second best player on a team and even still, guarding the #3 and #4 best player on teams, he still is struggling significantly
Actually there was a really interesting analysis done on this back in January

Why do we keep going up against all these teams with stuff to play for while our opponents in the standings keep getting all these cupcake tanking teams sitting players
Seems like we draw a team fighting for playoff position every damn game |

Mo needs to get back on the court. He’s literally playing for his option to get picked up. |
