Yah We've been cooking. A full year with this roster and we'd be second or third in the West behind Phoenix and possibly Denver |

Well overall we do have like the best record in the league since the trade deadline, and that’s with people in and out of the lineup
Could be worse |
Guys that went down for a period: AD, LBJ, AR, DLO, MO, etc.
We are looking great. _________________ Lakers. Built different. |

I like Kelly O. He's making $12,195,122. if Ham's not gonna use Mo, Kelly would be a great sign. Olynyk could start or come off the bench. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Somebody that can shoot 3s is not what you need. Bam can do that but he refuses to even play him. What is needed is someone that can bang with the True 5s and block shots and rebound and thats it. However Ham too dumb to even play guys .sooooooo. If they not 6-8 and below they not playing that center spot. |

Seeding is not settled until play-ins are finished, I don't think? Could be wrong- if we don't progress into playoff but pel does, we're still give up the swap. |

McDaniels' impact has been immense this season, especially on the defensive end. He's one of six players to defend 2022-2023 All-Stars at least 1,000 times this season, per @StatsWilliams
Now, he's lost vs. LeBron James and Lakers in Play-In game on Tuesday -- and beyond.
Minnesota President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly on Rudy Gobert: “We made the decision to send Rudy Gobert home after the incident in the second quarter.
His behavior on the bench was unacceptable and we will continue handling the situation internally.” |

So, after starting 2-10; team goes 41-29 rest of way, including a solid run to end the year.
Wish I was happier about the W. Problem is it took a ridiculous game from LBJ from 3, and team overall hitting 18 3's, to beat a lotto bound team by 11. Then I look at the absolute demolishing the defending Champs did on the Blazers...eesh.
I have zero expectations for the play in and/or playoffs. This team has some flaws that can be attacked by almost any team. With that said, am happier with this roster and win, lose, am looking forward to next season...something I could not say at end of last year. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Maybe we confuse the Jazz and, assuming rules allow, send them back Beas for Olynyk (salaries darn close).
I've always liked him because he can spread the floor. By no means a good defender but adds other qualities. He was a PITA for us in the finals vs the Heat when they played him.
(EDIT: Not saying I disagree with getting a big who can bang...why not aim for both? ) _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

It's just great that this slice of the trade pie cost the Lakers almost nothing. Fantastic.
Should get a quality player with the pick. |

Mo is just really a tall skinny lazy scrub that's foul prone and don't box out. |

The whole trade cost the Lakers nothing
BI has played less games than AD has since they were traded
Ball was injured more than he played and left the team
Hart didn’t last there and got traded away
They used the pick to make a package for Hayes who doesn’t play
And they do not get the pick swap |

Compared with the Clips who gave away SGA and 5 first round picks for PG. SGA ... the guy averaging 31 points at 51% this season |

He's not using Mo. It's a roster spot going to waste. There are reasons Darvin's not using Mo. He's not what we thought he'd be. He's not a rim protector, he's a 31% 3-point shooter and he's foul-prone. Kelly O can play adequate D and stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting at 36 % _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Foul prone - true. So why not play him until he fouls out? As for the other contentions ...
The *only* thing Bamba does OK on defense is to protect the rim, so I'm at a loss as to why Ham would think that Bamba can't protect the rim given he averaged 1 block per 17 min last year which is the *same* rate as AD. Now if he thought overall Bamba was a mediocre defender or was too weak to defend the post - sure I can buy that.
As for that 31% - that's this year on a small sample size where Bamba has played only 9 games and taken a total of *16* 3-pointers (made 5): if he had made JUST ONE of those misses he would be at 38% - THATS how small that sample size is! Meanwhile last year he shot 108 3-pointers and was at 40% - which number should Ham (or anyone for that matter) look at to get a better idea of Bamba's shooting potential? |

Because putting the opposition in the bonus early is a good way to get behind in a game. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
