Yep. But you can't really fault them. They play who is presented to them.

Need a prime Marc Gasol to offer resistance to Jokic bullying his way to the rim and make him shoot tougher contested shots. AD and Bam aren't big enough.

The Lakers have had that honor for so long whether it be Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Kobe and Bron.

Agree, but the bron we had wasn’t the best but I get your point.

Im just thinking 2020. There isnt a player alive at that time I would have wanted in the playoffs over that version of Bron. Its like 2009 Kobe vs Bron. Bron was the better regular season player and probably better player in general, but no way in hell would I have wanted that admittedly incredible but young version of Bron over that year's version of a mature and hungry Kobe in the playoffs.

Maybe but that was in the bubble. Without bubble we haven’t done a lot of winning with him prior to this year, and we needed a lot to fall our way.

Only if we got Finals Murray in the WCF...

Definitely would have won 2-3 games.

They beat
Towns/ant
Kd/book
Bron/ad swept
Beat the team that beat the 1,2 seeds.

But agree. The 8s and 7 seeds weren’t great.

How do we plan on making a run next year? Jokic is quite a bit better than AD and Lebron. It’ll take more than adding a couple of well fitting role players

We need to add another big and a 3rd consistent scorer who does not fold in big stages.

We don’t without huge changes. Not a piece here or there.

Jokic had a historic run and they had no injuries.

Doubt it repeats next playoffs

Jokic winning a championship and being Finals MVP and two time regular season MVP says the big man never went away. They just didn't have the right player representing that position.

Thoma Bryant looked perplexed but he got one. Best trade of his life.

This series would have been interesting if the Heat had the Jimmy Butler from round 1 against the Bucks. He really struggled in this series.

He looked "best in the world" quality in that round. Apparently, he's been dealing with a nagging injury? It's a shame.

What a great competitive game. Refs allowed a lot of questionable stuff go. Both teams deserve a lot of respect for their performances.

Respect to the Heat. But congrats to the Nuggets.

World Champions!

Been a great season and an entertaining playoffs. Enjoy the celebration Denver, it was well earned. Avs parade last year, Nuggets this year.

Loved Jokic’s post game comment. “ jobs done, time to go home”.

Sometimes it really is just being in the right situation.

Happy for TB. I still remember his Laker debut in the 2017 Summer league, with Zo and BI feeding him the ball. His energy was contagious.

He can give you solid offense. A team always needs that at some point. Probably could have played a bit tonight.

Repeating is hard, but let’s not act like Jokic played way above his head. This is who he is (more or less) and has been for a few years now

Jokic is just too good. He is the total offensive package. And with the roster they have around him, his defensive limitations aren't an issue.

Kudos to Denver. They have moved up to 2nd on my most hated list. Tied with GS and behind Boston.

Hopefully we find an answer for him next year. Go P&G!

Did the least in NBA history, playing only one minute less than one minute), to get a NBA ring. Since he is a UFA,

Even Calvin Nevitt played more than Thomas Bryant (https://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/1985-nba-western-conference-finals-nuggets-vs-lakers.html)

If Jokic is the Driver of the Bus, who is Thomas Bryant - lol!!

I was good with either Nikola or Jimmy winning but when the refs upheld that bullsh*t 3 point foul, my sentiments turned to the Nuggets.

Happy for KCP and TB also.

Grats to the Nugs. Best of the bunch this year, but...very beatable in my opinion. I actually do not think there is a large seperation gap between them and a number of other teams...all depends how the off-season goes.

Anyway, that is that, on to the draft and free agency!

I didn’t realize Deandre Jordan and Jeff Green were on this team.

Now the best part of the season begins the off season

Well considering that fanbase waited decades for this I think they’re better than most other fanbases of teams with really unrealistic expectations.
