Yep, Bron came up short then quit. I don’t blame him for the 3pt attempt, that would have tied it…but to quit after the turnover while playing like a role player for the last few games…bad look. It’s like the Lakers don’t have Lebron but a good role player instead.

They also had Denis going over the picks in the 4th like JVG said he was screaming at the staff to let him do the first 3 quarters to bother Murray. Their game plan of going under on Murray early was off too |

Few thoughts:
Lots of good things happened in this 2nd half. Lots to take away. We'll get more from D'lo and Vando than today. We need to get as much (if not more) from AR, AD, LeBron, Dennis, Rui.
LeBron cost us this game with that chuck job of a 3. |

The thing is if he drives on Murray, Murray would have fouled him so he would have for 1-3 points off that play and fouled Murray out and took confidence from them |

| Part of me wanted to see Reaves Vando Rui Bron AD … If Vando doesn’t shoot the 3 decently though they are screwed but that’s a defensive switching and rebounding team they can use and the best way to hunt Murray |

Basically what I said, Lakers need +10 from the bench.
Lost by 6, Bench 23-19
Nuggets bench is very, very average.
Even the Suns who got crushed by Clippers bench beat up Nuggets bench
I think the Lakers are probably more likely to slump in the shooting department.
Basically the same shooting stats so Lakers were just as hot tonight and day to day I would trust Nuggets shooting over Lakers.
MJP/KCP/MURRAY are genuine 40+ 3 point shooters. Lakers can't match that.
Lakers need to out rebound so need size in the starting line up.
Vando starting makes the D and rebounding better and lets Dennis beat up the bench.
Seems logical to me. Lakers don't miss out on any offense really with Vando starting as they still have 4 good scorers.
Having Dennis match up against the bench gives Lakers a big scoring edge.
I think Rui needs to stay on the bench too for the mismatches.
Braun and Green did score a whopping 3 pts combined but tbh thats only 4 points off there play off average of 7 so they are pretty consistent lol

As much as I’ll never be a fan of Darvin’s three guard lineups even though it worked well against the warriors this nuggets team uses their length well.
This nuggets team is pretty deep too. They got guys like Thomas Bryant and Reggie Jackson buried on the bench.
Sure it doesn’t matter too much as in the playoffs you normally go with your elite 8 players a game just gotta stop going small.
We lose all the advantages defensively |

What I took from this game is that the three guard lineup of DLO, Reaves, Schroeder will work on Golden State in that situation after we made several adjustments. BUT it won't work on Denver.
We should have went out with the DLO, Reaves, Vanderbilt, LeBron, Davis lineup to start the game, like we'd been doing prior. It was that and going against their size with our own that gave us a 2nd half so good if we'd had it in the first half we'd have won this game.
