I would love to steal this one, it won’t be easy whatsoever as Denver has seen what has happened to Memphis and GS when they lost home court.

Their size is an issue and takes away much of our advantage in the paint in terms of rebounding, shot blocking and scoring.

None the less, let’s steal game one again… that won us the last two series.

Hopefully coach Ham doesn't try his old small ball habits against the Nuggets. We need legit size in the front court for pretty much every second Jokic is on the floor.

With that in mind, maybe Mo Bamba is healthy and able to be this round's Lonnie Walker IV surprise (even if only in defensive impact alone).

Hey, there hasn't been an injury status update for Mo Bamba since the GSW series. Why did you list him as being out?

AD has his work cut out for him if his assignment is defending Nikola Jokić. Joker can't jump over a phone book and he's slower than a snail with arthritis but he's quick. Watch him labor up and down the court then watch his footwork near the rim. He's virtually unstoppable. He can also hit the 3. Ham has the arduous chore of developing a game plan to stop Nikola. I think we should make our guards attack the rim to try to get Jokic in foul trouble. Prove yourself Darvin. Slow him down. I don't think we can neutralize him.

Now, the 3-and-D rim-protecting big man has provided his own health update to Marc J. Spears of Andscape. The 7-footer informs Spears that he expects he could play for LA during the Western Conference Finals, should the Lakers advance that far.

i can totally see Ham asking AD to guard Gordon and help in Jokic in the post. Lebron and Rui body him up.

Some stats for you all. Do with them as you all will because I'm not sure how valuable they are given that all of our games against Denver were prior to our February trades, prior to LBJ's injury AND prior to Reaves' late season boost. Also, neither Lebron or AD played in the last/4th game against Denver (which was a loss in Denver in January). The other 3 games pre-January and with both LBJ/AD playing, we were 2-1 against Denver.

Again, really hard to take away much from the 3 games. That being said, I'm glad we're a different team now. I had assumed we played them much better than we actually have. Team versus team, overall, we kept Denver to slightly worse averages than against other teams, and we played slightly better than against other teams. However, when you look at the stars (Jokic/Murray/AD/LBJ), all of them basically played to around their averages give or take.

The interesting thing is going to be to see how D'LO, Rui and Reaves play against them. I think much like the Memphis series, Rui is going to have a big role in this one. I also think Vando can play in this series more than he did against Golden State - to what extent though, we'll see. They won't be able to defend us the same way as they did before, and they won't be able to take advantage of our perimeter D the same way they did before either. I do hope that Mo is available though - much as he did against JJJ/Tillman, Wenyen will get killed if he has to match up with Jokic.
