I’d be curious to see how many game 4’s the NBA has Scott Foster pre-assigned to _________________ |

Right. Game 4 is always an extension game. You know that before any series starts. It’s gonna be 3-0 or 2-1 no matter what. |

Bad call on Dlo flagrant, AD goaltend, Bruce Brown foul on LeBron which double been his 3rd, also he hit Rui on the head which should’ve been a flagrant too. _________________ |

Off the top of my head -
The flagrant call on DLo was a joke
The call on AD goultend just legit stole 2 points from us
The no review on Rui getting hit in the head should have been a flagrant, especially when you take them reviewing the DLo call and calling that a flagrant
LeBron got hacked multiple times with no calls
AD got hacked multiple times with no calls
You know it's bad when damn near half the game all JVG and Mark Jackson were talking about was missed calls and clowning the refs.
We should have won regardless but there were points in the game where we were up like 8-10 that could have been 15-20 if there weren't terrible calls. |

3 and 4 will belong to the Lakers. The home team gets favoritism. It's in the league's best interest to extend the series. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

The other thing that made the flagrant foul call so bad is he didn't explain or defend it at all. Just its a flagrant foul because it is. That is bad officiating for any game, let alone a playoff game. You're the crew chief, that is part of your job.
They called AR for a block when he was camped out waiting for MPJ. One of the clearest examples of a charge. Green drew a charge where he was waiting for less time than AR was.
AD got called for a screen or something off the ball in the 2nd, don't really know, the broadcasters were too busy talking about WNBA players to tell us what was happening. Then the next play they called AD for a foul on Jokic on the next play with barely any contact.
Just a really bad/weird game officiating-wise. I really don't want to see another Tony Brothers game, but I'm sure he's going to be working a few more, as the crew chief no less. |

I thought the refs favored us the first quarter.
They had some missed calls both ways.
We lost cuz our stars made mistakes down the stretch. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

I LOLed as Scott Foster laughed around with the Lakers after Lebron bludgeoned him..
now, that's something I've never seen before.

Not sure if this is true, but lots of posts about Eric Lewis being exposed for running a burner account that has been fending his calls on Twitter. The account was deleted shortly after the exposure but people took screen caps before the owner of the account could delete it.

Twitter is a dumpster fire and adding referees into that mix just makes it a dumpster fire with nuclear fallout, but it looks like he's saying a lot of things that he could/should have said with his regular account. I wish someone with expertise, who wasn't just a company man would explain why something should or shouldn't have been called.
A lot of people don't understand officiating and calls, and there is literally no one there educating them on it. The national broadcasts sure as hell aren't doing any thing to educate people on what constitutes a foul. Most of the local broadcasts for nba games are 1 sided with them making little to no effort to explain anything.
You had Breen swearing up and down that DLo's foul was flagrant, primarily because of contact to the head, but that all the other plays with contact to the head weren't flagrant without any explanation given. Its just wildly inconsistent and the rhetoric fans have around this is pretty crap, in my estimation this is a direct cause. |

The thing that annoys me most about the officiating is what levon termed the asymptotic nature of foul trouble. For JJJ and Jokic in particular, it was obvious how they'd let them get away with obvious fouls in an attempt to keep them out of foul trouble.
I don't think it's an effort to manipulate the series, they just don't want to put star players on the bench in playoff series. But it's still annoying. |

Refs were horrible all series. Looks like they (bleep) us in game 4 too. Why did that one ref come from opposite side of court to give the ball to Denver when Murray fell down? Stupid Ham not challenging anything. |
Right now a coach is only able to correct at most 2 bad calls in a game.
If indeed the referees in a game are biased/incompetent then tilt the balance back to even/fair by fixing the challenge rule so that a successful challenge does NOT reduce the challenge count. Not only will the game be more fair but sustained referee incompetence/bias will either be exposed and/or progressively eliminated. |

NBA’s Competition Committee is in serious discussions on awarding teams a second and final challenge if first challenge is ruled successful beginning with the 2023-24 season, league sources tell @NBAonTNT,@BleacherReport.
A test run of the two challenges could occur during Summer League.

JVG has been clamoring this forever but I feel like he’ll be the first one to complain when one team wins 2 challenges and the other team has a challenge that is controversially rejected and then also loses their chance to challenge the next bad call. |
