Fitting that it's outside a steak joint. If he eats just that he gonna go nuclear on the league very soon.

Good enough for me. Just needs to get stronger.

Yeah, I was, too, but that's what all the numbers say. There was a convo even on Montrezl Harrel having the bigger 9-1 standing reach.

I don't know if AD grew after the draft at all, but all these numbers for everyone are when they entered the league. Pretty interesting and credit to AD, too, for playing much longer than a lot of guys. He's a beast.

I think we are worrying too much about his ability to play with the team this year. Needs a lot of time in the G League and needs to bulk up.

Worrying? I'm sure other will agree that we're too busy being grateful for another gem Aaron Reilly is directing our way without having to give up any assets.

How do you worry about a gift?

Offensively he seems like he could step into a Draymond type of role with a higher ceiling as a scorer. Also kinda reminds you of Luke Walton at a glance. Defensively, let's hope he ends up somewhere in between.

At this point would castleton be that bad as the backup 5? If we can’t get wood why not just give him a shot? Maybe bring back gabriel just in case it doesn’t workout?

For 3rd string I’d prefer Colin as a developmental project rather than an over the hill option like Javale/Dwight.

You trust him to backup Hayes when AD misses games? I don’t like the sound of that.

Well they thinking of calling you, but they found out you were already on the Clippers payroll.

But, keep in mind, the original poster apparently believes that Castleton can back up Hayes when AD misses games.

I don't like the sound of that either. He's not going to be ready for that role. We need a vet with some beef.

I’ll call it a win if we have Colin playing well in G-League and doesn’t get annihilated when called up, kinda like Max before

Castleton is a pretty good prospect, he has played better than expected this preseason. He has skills, he just needs further development to hone those skills a bit more.

He quietly had a very solid pre-season. He should make the 15 man roster. Can’t have enough bigs.

He provides something the Lakers didnt have last season. Big man insurance.

Will forever be reminded of that Rockets game we lost to a bad team when every game was critical due to not having a healthy big.

Brook Lopez is a good style template for this kid
