Anyone know how far up Castleton can credibly defend the PnR? Bigs that can only cover in deep drop tend to have trouble staying on the floor (see Huff).

This video is worth watching. Second half of the video has some good defensive possessions. He gets in a stance and moves his feet pretty well for a guy his size. Some possessions of him playing at the level and even some hedges/traps.
For a two-way that choose the Lakers I’m excited at the potential. Anything positive that he does is money for nothing and chicks for free!
The draftees and UDFAs for the Lakers will make the summer league interesting to watch. _________________ When it’s a reasonable possibility, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a respectable effort by the Front Office for the last two off seasons nor the last trade deadline. What is going on?

The rim protection, rebounding, defense, coupled with ability to pass and even handle the rock in transition. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
If CC doesn't make the squad, he'll certainly be an anchor in the middle for the SB Lakers where he can hone his skills.
Good handles, nice vision, passing and instincts, If he develops a 3 Pt shot this kid he could be around for awhile. Very good pick up.
Kudos to the Scout dept. for another fine signing.

He's Mason Plumlee with slightly less bounce and a less consistent midrange shot, but same playmaking ability and touch around the rim. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

You can't teach the playmaking part for bigs IMO. He and Plumlee def have that for sure. It's a nice wrinkle to have such a player. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
It looks like he could be injury prone. He's already had a surgically repaired torn labrum in his shoulder and a broken hand. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
I think he had trouble staying in front of Kessler for rebounds. He needs to do a better job feeling for the big and staying low in front of him, so he is not driven forward under the rim, when the shot goes up. He just does not fight for position enough, but that is likely something he could improve on.
