Prince was getting torched by Brunson throughout the game, it wasn’t until Lakers forced doubling him around the paint in the 4th that they finally got stops.

Wished Ham put Christie on Brunson to be honest.

Last night was a good example of a valuable role for Taurean. If he’s hot, keep him in and ride him. If he’s not, keep him on the bench

I like him as a starter over Rui, but benching him might mean he’s used in the best way that fits what he needs

I’m glad we won last night but how much money do you think Ham would pay TP if it was up to him and the cap allowed it? Would it be the max? Maybe 4 years 100M?

He's better off the bench. Let's keep him there. He contributed tonight, we will need him to contribute a lot more next game.

Yeah I like him off the bench. Play him 25-30 if he’s hot, 15 if he’s not

Not a bad game offensively for tonight

Unfortunately they hunted him at the end by either getting a switch onto Jokic and in the last play Murray got the open 3 because the Lakers didn’t switch to prevent the mismatch. But not much choice Max was injured

This is a game I think where Vando would help He could navigate through those screens without switching and still stay with Murray

I thought Mays played him well, but of course there was no way that he was going to play the final 6 minutes.

TP is looking pretty good coming off the bench.
Ham finally has Prince in a position where he can prove to be of value to the team instead of a negative.

He looked great off the bench. Huge plus for us in the second quarter. He is slashing more to the basket, I liked the floater in the lane. He played a bit out of control in the fourth, which led to a turnover, just needed to pull up sooner, but he looks great in his new role.

Different guy coming off the bench. Which we've all known all season, and anyone that's watched his last two seasons on serious teams would know.

All but Ham.

My guess is someone in the org finally told Ham to cut the crappy bacon.

Everyone and their gramps knows Prince at 20 mins plays better than Prince at 30 mins.

Lakers are 21-26 whenever Taurean Prince plays over 24:30 minutes.

They are 11-0 when Prince plays 24:15 mins or less.

Lakers 21-27 when Prince plays more than 25 mins.

Darvin is still in his period of discovery.

Ham should go to TP and be like, "you get 24 mpg for the rest of the season."

I dont think TP will complain.

There were some people that still clung to the idea that he was needed for his 3 point shooting. If this isn't the nail in the coffin I don't know what is. Months into the season...how can anyone watching the game come to that conclusion? I was hoping for the best from the guy but you know what? Minnesota fans were saying how he was a bum...

"Spacing" this. "3-D" that. Foh. We've been finally turning it around with Rui in the starting lineup..you know, where he was when we made that run to the WCF.

Imagine that.

"B-b-but Rui is too slow for the 3, Bron can't play the 3....IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!". Unreal.

The benefit of Prince no longer getting high minutes is that when he has crap games he doesn't stay out there for 30 minutes. He can come out at 14 or 15. This is why the Lakers benefit from him playing under 25 MPG. He is best coming off the bench and is a commodity in that regard. But he is not a starter and should never get starter minutes on a team that wishes to win.

Prince has looked pretty lost the last few games. Disappointing.
