Very low level game. Both teams were trying to lose. The Kings just wanted to lose more. And my god CJ might be the worst playoff player I've seen by a mile. The dude has no understanding of team ball or what a good shot is. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

He’s a weird dynamic because I would take CJ over Dame in the playoffs. In game 7 versus Denver he showed up and Dame didn’t. Vs the warriors in then conference finals he showed up late and Dame had horrible fourth quarter numbers when they could have made a run with KD out. |

Monk is their offense. Huerter is their starting 3 and D guy |

The Kings went through all that to beat the Warriors and talk about it was "taking the next step" and the "next step" was getting beat by a Zion-less Pelicans team and missing the Playoffs entirely

Honestly, I think CJ's always been the beneficiary of the "let's ignore him and focus on the franchise player" mentality from opposing teams and scouts. He thrived in the Denver series because Denver was abysmal defensively (pre KCP and Gordon). He had good offensive outings, but Dame had gravity, too. Unlike Dame, he's never been significant enough for teams to gameplan around, which is why they were more than happy sending 2-3 guys at BI this game. The more I see him pass his prime, the more he looks like a worse version of Lou Williams. At the very least, Lou was adept at getting to the line with his foul baiting garbage, as frustrating and annoying as it was. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Two things evident watching that game.
First, the officiating was horrible. Lopsided towards the Kings. IMO
Secondly, forgot how much I really dislike Sabonis. The man should have fouled out in the 1st Q with how much blatent pushing and throwing elbows.
Was glad to see the Pels knock them out. |

Like I keep saying, Sabonis can only get his shots off against defense by using the chicken wing and dropping his elbow into someones rib or face whenever he turns or has to turn. He does it to AD ALL ... THE ... TIME...
And the refs NEVER call it. They don't call it when Sabonis does it, they don't call it when Jokic does it, but the one time AD did it vs the Pelicans they called it _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Fox and Sabonis are serial floppers and whiners who get the benefit of the whistle, so it was cathartic seeing them go down. I hope these clowns never win anything. This new brand of basketball where these so-called gifted offensive players bait defenders with the stupid follow-through move is so terrible and pathetic to watch, and it's a shame their flailing antics were rewarded these play-in games. (bleep) needs to change. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Keon Ellis goes off and Keegan Murray loses his mind vs the Warriors.
Then goes back to scoring 0 points and 11 points against the Pelicans
They must have misplaced their Like Mike shoes. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

And he'd be scoring no points on the Lakers as Prince and Rui are played in front of him and he'd be sitting on the sidelines in a warmup, a suit, or playing in the G-League for us. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Pundits like to use cliches like "bad match-up" whenever one team dominates another. Pelicans can't beat us, we can't beat Kings, Kings can't beat Pelicans. LOL! If we do well against Kings, then the cliche talk will be they got no match-up for AD, they got no one who can guard Lebron, etc. Since we've been losing to them... they are a bad match-up for us, Sabonis kills AD. Sabonis beating AD is why they've won, not because they're a bad match-up. When AD starts beating Sabonis, we will win. I chalk it up to a string of reds on a roulette table. The same way I don't make much about how we can't beat Denver.
We are due, it'll be a great series. |

yeah, rather than going "But JHS isn't playing like a 4 year college guy in his first year.." he could be spending that energy on "I AM SO GLAD WE GOT RUI HACHIMURA FOR NOTHING!" because both Rui and Prince would be playing in front of Jacquez. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:
