Looool that suns team is not good enough to blow us out by 20 wtf...Awful game im glad i did not watch.

Gotta win against the Jazz otherwise it's 2 step forward and 2 step back.

Why isn't Christie starting at this point?

Looks like Lebron and AD had their worst game of the season as well.

AnyWho I just finished listening to Ham and his myriad rationalizations. Actually he started out a bit defensive but he calm down.

We’re in trouble if we need a 39 year old to set the tone more often than not.

That's the situation when you're paying him that big of a chunk of your salary cap. If the cop out is always just going to be "oh you can't expect that of him, he's 39!" then he shouldn't be taking that much money and we shouldn't expect to ever win.

Ham seemed to have admit after the game that the team just didn’t have it could be because of the trade rumors and trade talks swirling right now, no reason why the game should have looked as bad as they did and made the Suns look like a top tier team in the process, I think a lot of guys on this team have checked out

Well Lakers shouldn’t have resigned him then. We knew age was gonna catch up with him eventually. We signed him knowing and expecting the inevitable decline.

That’s a front office issue.

Seems like the Lakers just didn't play hard in this game. At least that's what Kenny Smith said afterward. He said LeBron just doesn't play hard enough until March or April, and that LeBron just wants to get to the playoffs so we can turn it on then.

If what Smith said is true then that's pathetic. Two seasons ago the Lakers had a casual attitude from the beginning, and it seemed they just quit after the All-Star break. It's getting to the point where we have to wonder if this team may start mailing it in at some point, at least to some extent.

Seems like Lebron and Davis didn’t really show up today.
Not sure why they pick and choose what games to actually bring it.

Would love a team that plays hard every game, like OKC, for example.
Play hard every game….

Some of that is on coach Ham. He sucks.

Lebron and AD looked uninterested from the start sure. The suns just wanted this game much more tonight. Especially after losing three times to the Lakers already this season and fresh off getting their behinds kicked by the clippers.

Still no excuses for our Lakers. I’m hoping Darvin goes back to our playoff starters for the next game. Let’s see how Taurean plays off the bench with RUI, CWood, and Max

On the LfR podcast they mentioned a Kobe quote when he was near the end “I only got so many bullets left in the chamber…” something to that effect. Lebron has been masking his decline by being calculated with his energy expenditure throughout an 82 game season, because he has no choice. He’s old. If Lebron played with the effort people want him to play with on a nightly basis, he’d have been retired years ago.

The issue is, the guys see a player that is in his 21st season with the most miles on his legs than anyone in NBA history…not have it from an energy standpoint in any given game, and think they can chill too.

When your star chills and has always chilled, rest of the team will follow suit.

LeBron definitely needs to conserve his energy. But that doesn't mean he can come into a game and kick back and seem passive. He at least needs to set the tone with his energy and intensity, and then he can let his teammates do enough of the heavy lifting to help him conserve his energy.

This is one reason why I just can't put LeBron ahead of Kobe on the list of greatest players ever. Every game was like life or death for Kobe. I get the sense that LeBron doesn't need to win to be OK with himself, and it's one of those things that annoys me about him.

Weird + / - stats tonight...

4 starters with more than -23 but look like the rest of the roster did their job...

Felt like we was play 4 against 5 out there tonight.

Wouldn't classify Darvin as a star. He just needs to go regardless. Problem is there isn't an alternative at this point in the season so maybe he can just be forced to adapt and get better rotations. Where are the Rambii when we need them

Look like Bron took his foot off the pedal after that ankle tweak... But not sure what the game plan tonight was with AD. He was just floating around most of the time.

Interesting thing is he's been this way since late in his Miami stint. He wants to be fresh for playoffs and late season but in today's NBA where he's older and in a competitive West that just doesn't work. Plus he doesn't have a strong vocal costar to set the tone. Nor a coach.

Clippers win was a curse. Just like the 2020 championship. Now Jeanie is probably going to keep Ham around for this entire season and maybe longer just because she thinks she knows basketball.

4 meetings and this is the first time the Suns have their big three available for the game and this is what happens. Smh!

Vogel is such a sheet coach. I'm glad we fired him.

Down double digits by the end of the first quarter and just cruise the rest of the way. An underachieving Laker team just barely holding on to a play- in spot instead of competing for HCA. Same attitude and uninspiring excuses.

We have seen this show before. It is getting old.
