I just enjoyed that the team played well and competed.
That was team we all loved last season.
Even if we had lost, I'd still feel more optimistic.
Too many games where we just didn't try this year.
The main problem is that Bron played 48 minutes and AD got beat up pretty badly.
The bench is well rested because Ham stuck with the starters through the fourth quarter and overtime.
As long as one of them can play I think we should be able to beat them. |

Considering our wins, it really just keeps the perspective that if we don't blow the Nets game, we're all feeling differently because then we'd only have one loss because then we'd be 6-1 in our last 7 instead of 5-2.

I would personally consider it an overall “blanket need to win”
Current Laker culture has developed this “pick and choose” attitude on when they will play with intensity and focus. Too many wasted quarters, halves and losses with this casual attitude to my liking.
Lakers are hovering around the 9/10 seed and one multi game injury away from needing to scramble to even making the play- in tourney.
So yeah, I prefer they look at every game as “ must win” the rest of the season. Great 2OT win. Now build on it. Time to get on a winning streak and attempt to back into the standings.
Only 35 games left, what do they do with it? Beat the Rockets! |

| Rockets have the young legs and athletic players to blow us out, there basically the anti-Warriors in that regard, it’s gonna be a tough game but we always give ourselves a chance if the team is engaged |

Lakers more likely to show up going through the motions instead of ready to be competitive. Would it surprise anyone that this “easy win” turns into a down by double digits after the 1st blowout?
Hoping not, I would love to sit down later tonight to an entertaining and enjoyable recording of my Lakers getting an “easy win” !
