Hilarious win. Laker brand of basketball is still heavily dependent on an UNGODLY amount of free throws, and an UNGODLY FTA-disparity.

But this team is WAYYY better without Bron/AD, and almost watchable. Way less complaining/whining. Even less flopping, except for maybe Reaves.

Hopefully both Bron/AD get traded for some decent pieces. And we can restore our reputation from being the laughing stock of the league in the lbj era.

They came out extra light knowing Bron/AD out. Shameful performances and tbh I expect the celtics to go on a little run after this ass whoopin our Lakers handed them tonight 😂

They got grizzlies, hawks, and wizards next up 💀💀💀

For folks that bring up the free throw disparity, it’s usually folks that don’t know or watch the game of basketball.

You drive the ball to the basket, you get fouled.
You camp out at the 3-pt line, you don’t get fouled.
Not rocket science.

Said the DNP month was for extra practice and learning.. said he kept watching films and working hard

Said they have bench squad games to keep the bench conditioned and ready

Actually that’s not true. The lakers drive the least but get the most free throws. They do that because they post so much and work free throw line in. Bron and AD live in that area.

For instance Embid leads the league in free throw attempts but is 67th in drives. It’s because of where he operates. SGA and okc lead the league in drives as a player and team but they don’t get free throws outside him. The refs this year have a constant whistle for post and middy play lol

I’d be tempted to sit Lebron/AD again and see if this group can scrap out another win.

That makes sense only if you believe that Lebron and AD are the source of the Laker's struggles.

Happy to be wrong about my prediction for this game.
I thought it was a Scheduled Loss.
It's fun to be pleasantly surprised.

I am giving an overall analysis of foul shot disparities in the league.
Teams that camp out, chuck up threes, don’t get calls.
Teams that are physical, take the ball more inside or midrange, get more contact and calls.

That is absolutely true.

There probably is a lot of them for this one. The mine must go so deep it's near the center of the earth where all celtics fans reside
