Vando being out hurts us A LOT.
No Vando, means more minutes and 'defense' by Prince, which will be a nightmare.
All the Lakers best defenders are out
AD, Vando, Reddish, Vincent. Those are the Lakers 4 best defenders. The only one left is Christie.
And no guarantee AD or LeBron plays tonight either. The Knicks are one of the hottest teams in the league.
One of the reasons we beat the Celtics was because of the difference Vando made in the lineup and all the turnovers we forced early and keeping that momentum/confidence over the course of the game.
Tonight Vando won't be there to give us that. I want us to beat the Knicks, but if AD isn't playing tonight, it will be a miracle, unless Christie somehow has a career night on the offensive and defensive end.
Rooting for the Lakers to win obviously, but this feels like a rough night given our 4 best defenders will be out.

LePassiveAggressive hour glass won’t miss a game at MSG. He may miss the next couple in protest, but he will play on a torn ACL at MSG if it came down to it…
Maybe he should look and recognize that he hasn’t been as consistent as he was early this season. He is 39, obviously he can’t be consistent; he’s going to break down in a young man’s game unless he uses LeHGH but that’s risky now with the NBA probably behind Luka and Wembanyama…they might not turn a blind eye.
The Lakers role players have not changed. They are what they are, which is pretty good for their roles. Funny how they did well against a top team without LeBron on the court. This ain’t the “oh (bleep) LeGrandpa and Deputy Davis are out, we are screwed Russ era.” We have the role players. Lebron is trying to hide that truth.
It’s not the role players. I’m sure they will get blamed though because like DLO said Vando is the heart and soul of the team covering for certain one side of the court players. |

Cool. If he is anything other than 3rd or lower option, they won’t win.
I could see it. Lebron would love to be known as the guy who won championships with the 2 biggest franchises in addition to bringing his home state one.
