He played well but his leash is insane.
His minutes probably came from wood and Hayes today. Ham putting him on the bench is already a good start, but Rui clearly can’t stay with quicker guys
We either start max/reddish/prince. Rui not only can’t cover for DLo/AR, he needs them to cover for him.

Yeah, unfortunately I’m seeing the same thing. I wish that we had the same level of rui defensively as we do offensively

I don’t want to defend Prince, I am just saying this forum’s obsession with Prince is kind of getting out of control. Nobody should guarantee him 30 minutes, but if our coach chose to play him 30 minutes, then that’s on the coach, not the player. We certainly didn’t sign him to be that guy.

In season tournament champion version of the Lakers showed up tonight.
They gave up 105 to the Celtics and the Knicks, but 140 to the hawks and the rockets, if this is not altitude/effort issue, I don’t know what is
No its a coach..You playing Prince getting burnt on Brunson. Can you imagine if Randle and Others were there and your coach is insisting on doubleing Brunson...Randle and Company would have a NBA Career night. Lets be honest they just have brunson..FOR NOW. Hawks and Rockets do actually have NBA players that can score you know?

Yeah, I don't know if people think he should refuse to check in or something. He gets hated too much for his coach's overreliance on him. TP isn't bad, he should just be playing fewer minutes. Him being played against the bench would be ideal.

Prince is what he is, I actually would like to see more of Christie definitely don’t want to see so much of prince we start getting healthy players back and we’ve been more than welcome to trade that put prince on the bench

Yup me making the comment that he has a long leash was me saying Ham plays him too much.
I wasn’t saying it was Prince’s fault he’s playing so many minutes.

To be fair, he's our only good spot-up 3-point shooter and floor spacer, and we're in desperate need of 3-point shooting and floor spacing.
The way we play defense when we actually show up, maybe we can get away with playing Prince 30+ minutes when he's shooting well, even though his defense is mid.
