Good god. Rui scored 2 points in 38 minutes

And he gave up tons of open 3s to Michael porter jr.
lebron was pissed to the point he called a timeout middle of the fourth quarter and they subbed Prince in. He can’t handle screens and chasing shooters

Yeah, if this team gets DLO back tomorrow and they lay a egg, it might be time to look forward to the off season

The end of February and beginning of March will determine that, not tomorrow

He isn’t being used properly. He is NOT a spot up shooter in the corner. He is a MID RANGE shooter.

Yup I agree offensively he is not being utilized at all.

Defensively he needs to get it together

I dont know what they can do with that fifth starter position. Everyone in that role seems to play better without Lebron — I mean, off the bench .

Yeah, the attitude they all seem to have, when their loser franchise has only won one title ever, plus the refs seeming to always bail them out...Win 3 titles in a row, then this will be a "rivalry"

They have a right to. Of all the champions starting from 2020, these Nuggets are the best. They would have crushed the 2020 Lakers, 2021 Bucks and 2022 Warriors.

Huh? we beat the Nuggets in the Bubblefor the 2020 title...
I'm confused.

This is like saying the 1991 Bulls would have crushed any version of the Pistons (which they would have). I dont need to tell you that 2023 and 2024 Nuggets are far superior to the 2020 Nuggets.

Lots of respect for you but I SERIOUSLY disagree the 2023 Nuggets beat the 2020 Lakers. LeBron and AD were completely unstoppable and we had a bevy of defenders and length to match up with Murray, KCP, Gordon, and MJP. Bruce brown is NOT cooking Caruso. Murray is NOT cooking Caruso. AD’s middy couldn’t be touched. That coaching staff (I think the best complete staff of any champion this decade for sure) would work circles around Malone

Should be Vando. Ham decided to take Prince out of the starting lineup once Vando got hurt.

Incredibly dumb

Nuggets had many great teams that were supposed to beat the Lakers...It took them finding Jokic with the 41st pick to actually be relevant, for once.
We can't win the title every year, may as well let some of the perennial losers get it from time to time.

Rui needs his diet checked.. eating or drinking (bleep) that makes his mind slower... he can play better

Reaves looked ill in the first half.. maybe his knee hurting?

Lakers are risking losing LeBron this summer and going back to mediocrity for who knows how many years.

Depends on your definition of mediocrity. To me it means middling. I think they are mediocre now and actually played up to their abilities tonight.

The Lakers are mediocre record-wise right now, but in terms of ability they're a pretender, which is significantly better than being mediocre.

I'm not the biggest LeBron fan, and there are things about him that really annoy me. But as long as he's playing at a high level, I want him to stay with the Lakers, because he's our best shot at another ring, for better or worse.

When he leaves, who knows how long it will take us to get another all-time great? We could become the Celtics or Bulls and take decades to get another player like that.

and we lost baby kobe tonight too...

any news on Max? ya know this ish just breaks his heart to get injured in This game and we lose

No nothing yet you know it'll be the usual make sure nothing is broken and make sure nothing is really tore up etc. They're in town so I imagine they'll run some tests and some imaging tomorrow.

My question is who does KCP play for in this fantasy scenario?
2020 Lakers or 2023 nuggets?

Either way not trying to sound biased I got 2020 Lakers winning in a sweep or gentlemen sweep versus this 23’ championship nuggets squad.

-Rondo , Caruso, and Danny Green guarding Jamal

-Kuzma out doing Kuzma Porter Jr for more boneheaded plays with blonde hair activities

-35 year old Lebron cooking Watson, Gordon JR.
an btw Jerami Grant>>>>>Aaron Gordon and Watson

Either way I’ll share some of the flowers 1995lakers is giving out. Nikola and Jamal are amazing ballers. But yeah I’m still rolling with Javale and Dwight Mighty Ducks bash brothers.

Nobody beating that 2020 Lakers Leave a Legacy Gigi heart patch squad

I got to say.....this just reaffirms what Bron told AD at the end of the Denver series last year.....sometimes you just tip your cap when you get beat. The basic fundamental reason we lost today is exactly the same as why we lost each of the 4 games last year.

So to those that said had D'Lo played well, that series could have turned. Its not that simple. Denver was playing on cruise control against us and the only time last year they seemed rattled was Game 1 when we very nearly did steal that game from them and they were lucky to walk away with the game. But that game reminds me of the 1991 NBA Finals where the fundamentally better team was or nearly beat in the first game cause mentally they were not all the way there. But that first game told the better team (Bulls and Nuggets), yup, we are the better team and if we play our game, the other team is finished.

We win that match up no matter who KCP plays for.
Lebron at 35 was unstoppable and unguardable. If we had that lebron last year, we would beat Denver again.

Fair enough. I don't think we have a shot with Lebron anymore given his salary, age and usage rate. I also don't think we are better than our record but that's just me.

Bron looked gassed again to finish the 4th.

Ham have to figure out how to get Bron rest in the 4th... Played him again the whole 4th quarter. Should not be doing it at 39.

Reaves smh....
