I think getting rid of some of the players has created a new vibe for them, a lot of the players on the Pistons bought toxic attitude, they have some nice hard working guys on that team with the Grimes and Simone additions
They're 4-5 in their last 9. They have wins against OKC and SAC in during that stretch.
That doesn't sound great, but it's amazing compared to how they were playing before.
The Lakers could possibly lose if they play like they did against CHA.
Beating OKC & Sac in that run of games is quite impressive for a very young team like Detroit.
The Pistons are loaded with talent but they are really lacking in experience.
However, they have shown recently that they have steadily improved, and that they have the potential to beat any NBA team on a given night.
They are not going to lay down, it will be a good game and the Lakers better be ready to play 48 minutes.

Players going for stats is one of the problems with this team. Instead of just locking in and putting a team away, they let them hang around so they can pad their stats. It’s the attitude problem that’s been talked about over the last few weeks.

No player on any team is making the conscious decision to pad stats over winning. The individual players might not give any fks about chemistry or cohesiveness, and rather try to win doing their own thing.
All players wanna win, but not all players are willing to gel as a team to maximize their chances of winning.

Pistons had a double digit over the Clippers in their last game. Not as bad as they seemed earlier in the season. Still professional players. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

I bet the Celtics thought the same thing when LeBron and AD didn’t play against them, as Stu Lantz would say never take a sigh of relief
Yeah the Celtics mailed it in and the Lakers had one of their games where they make everything from 3. But if the Lakers focus this game will be over quickly.
