Embarrassing game. Fox and Monk ran circles around everybody that was "guarding" them and we made no adjustments.

Really sad display of basketball.

What adjustments are there? We don't have the personnel to guard those guys.

So you walk into this game just expecting to lose and give Fox a career high? You can double team, hedge instead of drop. We did the same sets and kept giving up the same shots they kept hitting. That isn't just player personnel, it is defensive gameplan and adjustments.

Kings gameplan was obvious tonight... Attack both DLO/AR... They tried going over the screen and then tried going under. They tried TP on him. But none of those guys can keep up with his speed. By that time it was also already too late as he already had it going.

Along with the Nuggets add the Kings as another team Lakers won't beat in a playoff series. Terrible matchup for the Lakers. Can't guard Fox or Monk.

Never understood why the Front Office chose Lonzo Ball over De'Aaron Fox (especially after Fox torched Ball in the NCAA tournament) or why they let Malik Monk walk when he's such a great shooter and scorer.

They can’t gamble on to pass the local kid, we couldn’t afford monk

We passed up on Jaime Jaquez Jr though...

That also blew my mind.

The last time we had a good draft was 8 years ago in 2016:

Brandon Ingram 2

Ivica Zubac 32

Look at these recent first round bombs:

2023 Jalen Hood-Schifino (17)
2021 Isaiah Jackson (22)
2020 Jaden McDaniels (28)
2019 Deandre Hunter (4)

Feels like Fox has most of his 40 point games against the Lakers. Mike Brown really exploited the Lakers weakness. Teams know the Lakers weakness. It's just a matter of exploiting it to the max.

Denver not only has Murray who could run circles around the Lakers like Fox but they also have Joker. It's why they own the Lakers. I'd still rather face the Queens than Denver in the playoffs though. Rooting for the Queens if they ever face Denver.

Lakers look stuck in the 9/10 spot so not much to care about until the play in starts. They just need to be healthy for those games

I feel like this game clearly shows the limitations of this team while missing its two best POA defenders, Vando and Gabe.Yes, we executed poorly after the first 10 minutes, yes, the Kings were unusually hot, and yes, we suffered from a number of bad calls. But — as also showed by the Denver game — it is almost impossible for us to slow down small fast guards like Fox and Murray.

I don’t know if either Vando or Gabe will be back for the playing/playiffs, and I’m skeptical they could have much impact after missing so much time — especially since we may be battling from 9th or 10th place — but it is what it is.

The fearless play-in merchant leaders with another day at the office/crypt, whatever.

Meanwhile, GS is starting to surge towards a top 6 spot.

The argument for the play-in merchants is they don’t care about seeding…they are what they are. LeKlutch and Deputy will blame coaching, role players, etc.

And we repeat the same (bleep) insane bull (bleep) in the offseason.

This isnt on AD.

Sabonis was held to 16.

Monk and Fox went for 70 combined. This is on DLO, AR, and Prince

If the Lakers play defense like the Warriors did they can win this.

I can't believe last night and how AD just evaporated in a must win game. Silly.

HELD... You didn't mention the 20 boards and 12 assists. Sabonis did whatever he wanted to do.

don't mind that one too much...if we drafted garland, we still would have traded him to the Pelicans for AD
