Yeah they got Hayes who has solid upside and Christian Wood whom is a starting center in the league and puts up 17-20 points a game.
They also got known scorer Spencer Dinwiddie.
Their coach never ran offense through Wood with the bench, and told Dinwiddie that the team won't need his scoring and instead be a spot up shooter and play defense.
Is that Pelinka's fault? |
lol both can’t do (bleep) again jokic. |
Jokic can't do (bleep) against AD either. That's not what's hurting us.
What's hurting us is our bench scoring in single digits and having proven scorers like Dinwiddie, Vincent and/or Wood on your bench but Taurean Prince is the leading scorer. |
Even when Jokic can't do (bleep) against AD, he can still set up plays for others. The problem is not the bench its the starters. only 2 of the starters playing good each game won't cut it.
Now AD had 2 monster games and we still lost. He won't have the same in next 2 games. |
It all goes back to how do you get the other players good looks or going....you play off the hot hand of DAvis and hope he makes the basket or he makes the pass to the open man or man cutting to the basket. If the coach cant enforce that?..well |

Pelinka will have lunch with Jeanie and reminisce about Kobe and get a 3 year extension.
Guy doesn't understand how to build a roster. Like you need more than one big body to bang down low. Wood isn't the answer. You can't have two weak defensive guards who are both slow footed as starters when your alpha is 39. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

Of course not. Look, in all likelihood Lore/ARod’s acquisition will go through and Connelly will stay put. But even if he were a free and clear free agent would Jeanie ever go above $8M to pry him away? For a non-crony? Never. That, more than anything else, is why we will further slide down the standings now that LeBron can’t carry us on his shoulders anymore. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Denver killed us in rebounding last season, can’t believe we never addressed this. Look no one can guard Jokic, but we need a serviceable big for at least 10 minutes a game to relieve AD.
I guess that was supposed to be Wood but even he’s too tiny |

Even though we've won one championship with Lebron, I feel like we could have won more because Lebron was two out of four in Miami with Bosh and Wade and he's only one out of six in LA. You can't tell me AD and DLo is not as good as Bosh and Wade.
The Westbrick trade occurred after Pelinka has dismantled the championship team so I mean the team was already screwed before that trade anyways. The point here is there's no finger pointing at LeKlutch or anyone else. This was all Pelinka and Pelinka alone. Pelinka's vision of a three point shooting center and another ballhandler to help prolong Lebron's career has NOT come to fruition.
He actually deviated away the perfect championship recipe that is defense and rebounding by going away from Howard/McGee to Gasol/Harrell.
Offense gets the glory but defense and rebounding win championships. Always! _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

Its up to your coach to guide the team to maintain or increase the lead. We havent been blown out in the 1st half yet..sooo its not the players its how they being used..looking at you HIGH SCHOOL COACH POCKETS.

Our team is better than Denvers, our roster is better. These last two games have shown that. Our coach is terrible, that's probably more on Jeanie than Rob. |

No it's not. Our third best player isn't as good as Porter, our top two players aren't MVPs, and they still have quality guys like Braun, KCP, and Gordon that all fit together. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

Disagree, no way our roster is better.
Davis and Lebron vs Murray and Jokic - That's a wash
Michael Porter Jr, Gordon, Braun = Better than all our guys combined |

this is sad...KCP , Gordon were aquired over time. You mad because one player not better than another? lol...you only got certain players that actually got you to the WCF due to flushing down the toilet becasue our "Big 3 Star" in WB was a hot mess...now some of you want to go back and do this same tired stuff over again.. You cant make this stuff up.
Rob has put players here that has got you to the WCF and back to the playoffs but your coah just sucks. The team EVERY 1 half has led by double digits. Your reg season you have made stupid rotations all year..ITS A MARICALE that we even made the play-in with this coach.
Vogel,Spolstra,Sloan,Pop,Vangundy Brothers,Mcmilan,Avery Johnson,OKC's Coach,Udoka...any of those guys coaching...where do you think we would be? think hard now..where would we be? |

She needs people around her that she feels comfortable with. This is how you run a mom and pop family business. Even Dr. Buss was willing to hire people he had friction with. He and Logo didn't get along but he still let the man construct his teams. I just can't imagine Jeannie stepping out of her bubble. |

If Mitch and Jimmy got the boot for MozDeng, in no world should Rob get off easy for HamBrook. Two inexcusable signings that derailed every hope and chance for championship contention. Worse, if KCP doesn't join Denver they don't have nearly the same perimeter defense to cover for Murray and Jokic. Jeanie has to stop covering for her boy. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy.
