National TV game. An important game to maintain position in the standings. A “must win” game against a rival.
We have seen this one before. Typically an uninspired effort, down by double digits by the end of the first, give up 70+ at the half and a big fat L at the end of the game
Hope to see something different. Some sense of Laker pride and intensity would be a pleasant surprise. |

Spectrum is paying the Lakers $3B regardless of how many subscribers they get. Your subscription only affects Spectrum's profitability. Jeanie's already got her money.
The Lakers would still roll in money for many years even if the team doesn't make the playoffs again due to all contracts they've signed. That's why there's really no incentive or motivation for Jeanie to make the Lakers competitive.

| Houston is on a 4 game win streak, the hottest team in the West. What happened? I thought their season was over with the Sengun injury. Houston might be taking the place of one of these play-in teams. If it’s Golden State, so be it. |

The Sengun injury took out the possibility of either GS or Lakers dropping out of the play in, we should feel very fortunate cause you just don’t know what can happen during games if your team starts to click, Rocket fans should be excited about the possibilities for the up coming summer cause there really close to being good |

Was trying to be sarcastic lol, but yea I think home court and that's it. Tough though since we'll have to play two elimination games instead of one, before we can even step into the playoffs |
