It’s bigger players in general. U can’t make even the slightest contact on little guards whereas bigger players like Lebron, u can ride their hip and use your weight to slow them down. |

Absolutely the warriors are better than us with no AD, Vando, and CWood.
They got us in the season series this time around good for them.
If this is the playin matchup in a month and both teams are healthy I expect our Lakers to destroy them home or away |

Ham is too dependent on AD...on D and LeBron on offense...we have shown that we can play a good offense that's not LeBron dominant...but they look clueless on D....Jaxon doesn't foul anymore...but he doesn't really contest shots either....wth |

How can there be people who want more of this agony? I want to rebuild ASAP. We're going to lose, but we'll see young kids develop, get high picks, etc. It's agonizing being in the middle of the road... actually not even middle. |

I would keep the starters is possiblle.
Firing Ham and hiring a competent coach will do wonders i think. _________________ "I bought the Lakers so I could beat the Celtics" - Dr. Jerry Buss |

We caught higher seeds sleeping. Warriors are desperate to get into the playoffs. Totally different. Warriors came into this game with a must win mindset.
Bucks and Celtics approached as just another Tuesday. |
If AD was still playing this game we would still be struggling, like you said the Warriors are desperate and we need every resources to give ourselves a chance | No we are a totally different team when he is not on the floor. |

AD has been "overused" this season. His body was bound to break down sooner or later. We were supposed to be high in the standing so we could load manage AD but instead we're actually fighting for the last play-in spot this late in the season overextending AD to the max. It's a miracle his body has held up so well this season. _________________ Los Angeles Lakers 2025 NBA Champions!! Go JJ! |

If totally different is a new theme when AD isn’t playing then we should expect better results when he’s actually playing |

Agreed. But Jeanie seems hell bent on milking the popularity of Lebron until he decides to hang them up. The retirement tour marketing will be off the charts. There’s no way she lets Lebron do that somewhere else.
As bad as we are, we’re still in the spotlight due to Lebron and AD being on the roster. The rebuild is inevitable, might as well squeeze as much money out of Jeanie’s cash cow until then. |

If LeBron will stay and keep playing at a high level for at least one more year, we have to keep trying to get another chip out of him.
I'm not the biggest LeBron fan, but when he leaves, we will go into the crapper as an organization for who knows how many years. We could become the post-MJ Bulls or the post-Bird Celtics -- in fact, we may already be that. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

If LeBron walks or retires, it's a 25-57 record next season. It's not about his plus-minus. He's the only guy that speaks basketball in that locker room.

He really needs to play Power Forward for the majority of his minutes. That’s the only way to preserve him. Problem is, only way to preserve Lebron is to play him at power forward as well.
Lebron already has to ration a ton of energy to just be able to play like a top 10 Player for half of the regular season games, imagine sliding him to the 3 to matchup up with quicker more perimeter oriented players…
I think think we’ve reached the point that Lebron and AD aren’t an ideal fit like they used to be |

Crazy that we were also targeting Terry Stotts and picked this clown.
Roster is flawed too. We need bigger players to back up Davis. I like Hayes but he’s too lanky, zero bulk. Look at the Clippers, they have Zubac, Plumlee and Theis. You need that in the middle. Giving up way too many layups. No defense at the rim.
Other than Davis, we have no defense in the inside. Need to change that in the off season. |
