If it happens as above the Lakers will finish 7-4 and likely pass the Suns in the standings. The Suns next 10 games are all against teams ahead of them in the standings with 6 on the road. They will likely finish 4-7 in their final 11 (after losing to the Spurs last night) putting them below the Lakers in the standings which most likely puts the Lakers 8th in standings to compete in the play-in for the 7th seed in the playoffs. _________________ When reasonably possible, I expect the Lakers to go after a ship like it can’t be denied. I haven’t seen a completely committed effort by the GM for the last 2 off seasons nor the last 2 trade deadlines. What is going on?

This is probably the hardest of the remaining games. Just rest AD as well. We're gonna need him for this brutal stretch of games at the end and the playin and playoffs. No point in using him and trying to win this one. We don't need to prove that we could beat Milwaukee.
