Not impressed by Donovan Mitchell.

He's also hobbled. He's had a great year. But yeah he's not a Tier 1 superstar

He wanted to make the 65 games. Halliburton is hobbled too and the pacers sunk because he came back to play 65 over healing. Donovan came back from a knee injury and nose break both too soon

Defense doesn’t exist? Because we are a +7 with him on the floor, he has 3 steals, and so on

This B2B isn't too bad. There's no travel, and there's more than a 30-hour gap between the start times of the two games.

Also the lakers is a great home team, I think they are top 3-4

Denver is their only competition, probably wouldn’t be a bad thing to play them early and if they win, they can just coast through the remaining teams.

would love to catch Sacramento now without Monk and without Huerter in a play in or playoff. Sabonis is little different without all the shooters. Just do what the cavs did the warriors, make Barnes beat you

They aren’t going to get a better time to matchup with Murray specifically. AD had 28 and 14 for the series vs Joker so it’s not like he didn’t hold his own. Murray was just the second coming of Kobe on the Spurs on us. If you can catch him hobbled and with Dlo and Reaves full of confidence and no Bruce Brown, then take them out now. AD and Bron tanks on full, Rui confident, and AR playing defense. Plus you have Gabe and Spencer to give Murray 4 looks.

I say take your swing at them now and not when they have build momentum by winning a round or two. If he’s a 20 point Jamal and not a 30 point Jamal you beat them

I seriously doubt any team (including Denver) would look at this lakers team and say, bring them on

Denver and Sacramento would have imo but Murray is hobbling so he can get all nba honors and Monk/Huerter are out.

Dinwiddie and Vincent's defense were a difference today, even when they weren't scoring I watched them poke away opportunities from the starting backcourt of the Cavs and pester them defensively. Those things matter.
