It’s mental at this point, Den knows they can come back and beat us down the stretch. No lead matters we go up they just walk us back and close us out because we have random offense when games get tight.

Only getting 6 points from your bench won't win you many games.

We desperately need a guard who can break down defense. AD can play amazing like he did but will still disappear in the 4th. Lebron will start jacking perimeter shots when he's tired. We don't have a player that can get to the basket. And we need an another rebounder. It's been or achilles heel all season giving up offensive rebounds

Solid analysis

Would want Jonas Valanciunas. Need to find a way to create the full MLE

no thanks, he's a statue on d

He is a big body for Jokic. Also tore up Sabonis in the playin

Big bodies can’t stop Jokic, he has evolved. Unless we are talking about wemby length, nobody is going to bother his floater hooks. You also don’t want him to rest on defense.

Nope not really but i really glad people see this COACH SUCKSSS BAAAAD!

I Glad it was shown that your KANG is the valid reason why these loses are happening? That ill advised 3 shot? No No No

Not geting AD involved in the 3rd (looking at you labronnnie)
Playing STUPID ISO majority of the 3rd (looking at you labronnnie)
Having your PG sit on the bench when HOT
Not proper TIMEOUTS
STUPID ROTATIONS!!!
Stupid threes when you didnt need them
No plays setup in the stretch

Thats your COACH and the fearless leader.

How bout that?

Bron sounds a bit defeated in this post game interview. Sounding like he's trying to sound upbeat but… Yeah :/

Everyone would. He had the chance to close the game and it rimmed out, gut wrenching

Can't beat them with D'Lo playing bad.
Can't beat them with D'Lo playing good.
Can't beat them in a close game.
Can't beat them with a 20 pt lead.

Can't believe you about to snap a 300 game losing streak to the Nuggets, you got a 20 pt lead... and you freaking fold like this. Just wow. At least hopefully D'Lo got that monkey off his back. Maybe we can actually hold serve, but this feels very similar to last year. The idea that we can hold serve, only to see Denver excecated in crunch time, even in LA. So don't hold you breath Laker Nation.

Uh Oh Bron is completely sounding off in this post game. He is unhappy about the officiating they had to blank part of it out and then they missed part of the blank and just wow.

Ok, I am not that confident they can win those 2, but if they do, these 2 in Denver hurts even more

The Lakers only have themselves to blame for this loss -- not the refs and not anything else.

They went away from the AD pick-and-roll that worked so well early. In the second half, they kept walking the ball upcourt and devolved into one-on-one basketball, which forced them to take difficult shots with the shot clock running down.

TBH, LeBron deserves some blame for taking that 3 with 15-16 seconds left. We didn't need a 3, and there was plenty of time left on the shot clock. He should've taken his time -- at least then Denver wouldn't have had much time to make a shot.

This series is over. The Lakers don't have what it takes to even make things competitive. They may win one game if Denver gets overconfident, but even that doesn't seem likely right now.

Yeah he was starting to hesitate and then you could see the wheels of his mental machinery just said forget it and he just said everything that was actually on his mind. DLO held himself back but you could tell...

They are things that have been there his entire career. He just can't overcompensate for them anymore.

Anyway, the biggest disappointments this game aren't LeBron.

1) Rui Hachimura
2) Gabe Vincent
3) Spencer Dinwiddie

The Lakers bench is more than Taurean Prince, but you wouldn't know it.

Two games

Two goose eggs from Dinwiddie and Vincent.

DLO was a big disappointment in the 2nd half. When will he get to the free throw line.

The team is horrible defensively.

DLO has never been the guy that draws free throws, and defense was not our issue in these 2 games

Bron needs to stay mentally strong. If he folds the team will fold, anything can happen gotta empty the chamber. The league honestly won’t want a quick series here we should get some favorable reffing.

I wish the Lakers didn't make the playoffs.

The humiliation of getting swept by the same team 2 years in a row is more that just missing the playoffs, IMO.

The Lakers are going to be the laughing stock of the NBA in 2 games.

The Lakers looked like they were on the way to playing the OKC Thunder when Zion and the Pelicans made the comeback and then the tide changed when Zion got hurt, if we lose to the Nuggets there will be some discussions on that

Laughing stock?
They have won freaking 18 titles, and the only reason denver is relevant is they got lucky and drafted one of the best players ever in Jokic with the 40th pick!
All of that luck, only won 1 title and who knows if they'll win again...I'd argue that the nuggets are cool and shiny NOW, but are NOTHING compared to the Lakers brand.
End of story.
