Dinwiddie is not a factor so far.

That is unfortunately by Ham's design.

Throw a young player who seen little playing time into this series is asking for trouble. Spencer has a lot of experience, but ham hasn’t figured out a way to use him and Vincent yet

Very easy.

Look at them, and go "score".

It's difficult to win when you get almost nothing from your bench

No kidding, Spencer is a known isolation guard, but we ask him to be a defender and stay in the corner on offense….

Mr Isolation Guard has a 54% TS this season and for his career, and literally airballed a layup tonight. If not for that one year in Brooklyn and the other in Dallas, this guy would be out of the league.

When this signing was made, I called it dumb and I stand by it. Credit to Spencer for providing defense and an being an adult on the floor, but he wasn't worth not giving Max reps and not picking up a backup big.

I guarantee you that if Spencer had picked Dallas he'd be scoring 10-13 points a game off the bench for them. It's a Coaching problem.

I agree that...seeing how absolutely anemic our bench has been since moving Rui to the starting lineup, during the middle of the sesson...that Max should have seen the floor with regular minutes. Especially with the injuries to Gabe/Vando. Yes, Cam is a bigger defender, but his offense was bad. Max gave you both, at acceptable levels for a young player.

Had Ham had more forethought, Max would be more ingrained with the team, and better prepared for the postseason. But, now, its a hard ask to have him come in and perform at a high level, against last season's champs, in a VERY high pressure situation, and expect him to contribute. That wouldn't be fair to him.

But, seeing as how both Gabe and Dinwiddie are giving us absolute 0's on offense...what's left. The definition of insanity is doing something you know isn't working, but still continue to do it, expecting a different result.

So, I would put Max in, and see what he can do. Can't be any worse than what Gabe/Dinwiddie are doing.

Agree, even if it leads to a sweep. Get the young man some playoff experience. Hopefully he will be sticking around while Dinwiddie will probably be moving on.

Dont lump in Gabe with Dinwiddie. Gabe is playing real good defense on Murray. So I cant fault Gabe for that. He is making murray work for everything. We definitely should give max some minutes over Dinwiddie.

That's fair. Can't expect Gabe to be offensively smooth, with all the time he's missed. But, he's been solid on defense. And, Dinwiddie has been trying...but it's just not working.
