Seriously Rui really disappointed me with his passive play. I thought he really was a big game player and I still have some faith in him but its not even the shotmaking that bothers me the most about his play. Its the passiveness. You switch out Rui and give us MPJ or Gordon and we win 1 or 2 games this series already. |
I think that was the knock on him in Washington, he would lose aggression. I thought he'd fixed that after coming here, he's had some good games this season but for this series he's become a spectator |
I wonder if Rui was part of who AD was referring to when he said that guys don't seem to know what's going on. Because I feel that from Rui more than I feel like he doesn't care. I feel like he's confused and doesn't really know what's going on or what to do. So you know some people like DLO will press. And Rui seems to kind that be the type that kind of retreats when he doesn't really know what's going on. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

Right....I mean when does Denver EVER run plays for Gordon....yet the dude was MVP for the Nuggets this game and MPJ was the MVP last game and still pretty good this game. Rui.....man.....someone needs to tear into him and challenge his manhood. |

Funny how everyone throws blame at our guys when the real reason we are losing is because they, the nuggets are a far superior team. Jokic just standing on the court is better than our highest earners. Malone was almost fired after the bubble.
The west is stacked and getting better. I proud we laid it on the line for the IST. _________________ Kobe.

Did you guess that they would quit or just stop executing. Result is the same but the process is different. In this game, they quit unlike in the others where they just stopped executing |

Im sure Rui cares. But lets say you are correct as dude does have space cadet tendencies. Then play with ENERGY and attack the glass, make hard cuts, do SOMETHING. Dude just stands there.....i swear I wanted Taurean Prince out there over Rui.....which is saying something in itself because at least Taurean is mentally all there and can hit big shots. |

Ultimately most disappointed in the Lakers as a whole than on one individual. They quit....plain and simple. I saw it in the 3rd quarter in the way they played - unlike in the other two games where bad habits caused them to be unable to match the Nuggets execution and discipline, in this game, they weren't mentally checked out but couldn't muster up the energy to really want to win. |

Sucks to lose but why is everyone acting like we aren’t a 7th seed losing to the champs? Almost everyone outside of lakers fans knew we were gonna get stomped this series.
It’s playing out how most thought it would. Anyone that thought we were gonna have a chance this series is drunk off laker kool-aid. We are getting the results expected of us |

To add to this pipe dream I still believe in Klay’s talent.
I’d love to add him as another free agent we should pursue.
But realistically I think GSW will re-sign him
Also AD playing help side defense as a power forward like in 2020 is devastating to our opponents. With good health I’d expect 55+ win season easy money

Fire Ham
Hire a real head coach
Fire Pelinka
Hire Bob Myers a real GM
Sell the damn team to get rid of airhead biimbo brainleas Jeanie Buss and her (bleep) Rambis friends
Get rid of DLO
Get a real backup center
Get a real point guard
If Lebron wants to move on, so be it.
I like Rui and Reaves but both are role players, not anywhere as good as Gordon, Porter Jr., Braun, etc.
Dinwiddie, Prince, Gabe - all are ok on the cheap but none of them are worth squat in the open market. |

Gordan and Porter Jr are special. Braun or Brown or whatever his garbage ass name is, is just that: hot garbage. |

This is a really good point, and I can't help but agree with you here. Rui does look like he is confused about what he is supposed to do and that could easily take you out of your game |

Austin's accent gets even heavier when he's mad.
and then he just said "I'm done" and left the podium
(to be clear he answered a lot of questions they were starting to repeat and how many times can you really say a team beat you...) _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

It is because we trade the future of the team for this product and we all know deep down unless something big happens we are not going to win the championship for the next 10 years minimum. OKC is not winning it all either but they are just going to get better and we will get worse and worse

Jeanie is an idiot, wrapped in a moron.
Nepotism is all that she believes in.
She will never fire Ham, Pelinka, or get rid of advisors Linda and Kurt Rambis.
Buss family needs to sell!
It’s not the 1980’s anymore.
You have to hire smart, analytical, basketball minds, not just your friends. |
