how long is a new tire warranty usually?

i can't find the card from the tire manufacturer...tire blew on the 105 freeway last night....its a 2004 Mazda6 I bought a year and a half ago....30k miles

Is the car still under warranty? Did you buy it new? Is it the factory tire? Depending on where you got it will determine if you can get a replacement. A lot of the time, after market tire dealers will offer a "road hazard" fee to the tire/installation if you agree to it... I have an '07 Mazda 3 and after 6 months I had the same thing happen, took it back to the dealer and they replaced the tire for free and gave the car a wash.

called a service advisor...said that the warranty doesn't cover blown tires... ????

what does it cover then?

Damn, $234 per tire x 2....

If you get new tires, the warranty often has a condition like getting an alignment at the same time.
