It won't be getting any easier for Kobe after Posey with Prince on him. The rest of the team will have to step up again. They also have to look out for the 3 ball--Pistons were 6-13 last night with Wallace knocking down 3 of those. Lots of running after guys tonight with Iverson and Hamilton out there too.
Hamilton has been creating a lot more for himself off the dribble this season with limited success. I don't think he's going to be as difficult to guard as usual. AI is always a handful, but the Lakers have tons of experience guarding him. The biggest thing to watch for is when AI drives and kicks out to Sheed. I honestly think that the biggest issue for the Lakers will be containing Stuckey, Bynum and Maxiell off the bench.

Kwame wanted to succeed here, it didn't work out. 'nuff said.
Yeah, it definitely showed through his unparalleled work ethic.
I don't understand the constant need to defend him. He's a (bleep) bum, always was a (bleep) bum, always will be a (bleep) bum, and the Lakers were (bleep) fortunate to get anything at all for him.
He did work on his game when he was healthy, remember 2006? he had his first healthy off-season as a Laker and worked on his game, then in TC got injured by Bynum.
The only thing that has ever prevented him from working on his game is injuries, and that is not his fault.

And what did he have to show for it? Even when healthy, he still:
1. Rebounded like a guard.
2. Couldn't contest shots.
3. Defended bigs and smalls all the same by letting them blow by him and attempting to poke the ball away from behind.
4. Couldn't finish.
5. Couldn't make the other team pay at the charity stripe even when some moron from the opposing team is idiotic enough to foul him.
6. Had a pretty spin move--that is, until you realize that it does absolutely nothing.
7. Had a offensive moveset that was limited to a 0% 15-footer, a 0% line drive hook, and a 0% desperation scoop. Made layups on occasion when he lost the ball going up, and the ball miraculously stumbled its way into the hoop.
8. Ate up $7 million of valuable cap.
9. Ruined teammates' stats by causing them to be credited with turnovers, no thanks to his hands of stone that make Samaki Walker's seem like marshmallows.
10. Made marginal players look like hardwood legends, like Nick Collison transforming into the second coming of Kevin McHale.
11. If by some miracle made a positive play, immediately negated it with something idiotic within the next ten seconds.

And despite all of that, the lakers during 05-06 and 06-07 struggled without Kwame and were much better defensively with him. Suprising that such a bad basketball player could have that impact. _________________

I read someone say the same thing somewhere else. I guess those are their high energy guys.
And to that comment that was made about Wallace at center--I was thinking about that too and really can see it happening tonight to counter how we like to exploit our height/length. I typically hate having to adjust to the opponent (as opposed to them adjusting to us), but Bynum wouldn't be effective out on the perimeter and be able to run with Wallace. On the other end Wallace is a really great defender, and any additional weight or height Bynum has on him will be offset by the fact he doesn't get fed much down low (and is still pretty raw down there).

That speaks volumes of how (bleep) those teams were.
i have no problem with him taking 30 shots tonight and taking the pistons out of their offense - regardless of how many he makes.
they won't win if we tempt him to try and take over while concetrating on shutting down the rest.
kobe and ariza should rotate on hamilton, and our bigs will get the job done for sure.
he's going for 20 and 10 (20 minutes and 10 turnovers)
He might make it a triple double: 20 minutes, 10 turnovers, and 10 offensive boards for Bynum while Kwame isi n the game. _________________ Jeffs

anyone else already sick of these espn announcers jumping on the celtics bandwagon and calling them the team to beat in the nba? one of them even said pierce would be MVP. disgusting.

how does our coaching staff counter if the pistons go small with wallace at center, prince at PF, and a 3 guard lineup like they did last night? should be interesting.
pound them to death inside. maybe bynum at C, pau at PF, mihm at SF, mbenga at SG, and lamar at PG.
Its time for the battle of the Bynums!!!! Will Bynum vs Andrew Bynum. Does any1 know if theyre related? lol _________________ After Kobe's double clutch reverse, solidifitying his MVP in the 07-08 season,Stu Lantz says "Kobe showing a little bit of the young Kobe,go ahead Kobe Pop it,Pop it a little bit"

Let's see how Staples greets Kwame Hands of Stone Brown.
I'm always interested on how Bynum asserts himself against the so-called tough-big men of the NBA. I want Bynum to have the killer-thug-like instinct...to a certain degree of course. _________________ 15th thru 20th rings!!!!
