yeah.. i was looking at this dude's post history and pretty much all the links he posts are hidden linksbucks links. trying to make a quick buck from fellow lakers fans (and trying to hide it ) is pretty lame. |
how can you tell it's a linksbucks link? Kinda sucks that people do this because now I'm paranoid about every link I click on forums! |

Please excuse my grammar, English is not my first language.
I been waiting for 7 years for the Lakers to bring a championship back home to LA. After two heartbreaking lost with the 2004 Pistons and last year Celtic, I was extremely disappointed. Now that the Lakers have won a championship, I wanted to spend some money on the new championship hat. Unfortunately this is perhaps the ugliest looking championship hat I can remember. Remember last year Celtic Hats or the several Spur and the 2002 Lakers hat? This is very ugly compare to all the past championship cap. I want to wear my Lakers cap with pride but unfortunately I will have to wait a few more years or until Adidas can stop making these crappy hat.
What is your opinion of the hat and would you buy one? |

I'm not a hat person, but it looked alright to me.
If you really want a new hat to commemorate this championship, I would look for the X hat Phil was wearing.

I bought the hatjust to have as sort of a memorabilia/reminder, along with the shirt and towel, moreso than to wear. I might wear it around a bit but it'll go on top of my desk with the dvd.

I actually love the hat. I think it looks a little more casual than most championship hats that tend to be more "flamboyant".

I personally dont give a bleep about the hat but WTF was up with the color it wasnt purple or gold ...i mean are we that broke ?
But once again who cares..i am not buying weather they it was sick or not lol. hahahha.
But i am getting the t-shirts and the dvds. |

| I'm with you OP. They're very ugly and I'm not really feeling the gray. They look like Spurs hats from far away. I've actually been stuck wearing my NE Ace Dodgers hat for the longest time because I haven't been able to find a Lakers one I like yet |

yeah why is it that the hats always suck? i hate that. i would wear that more then anything else. because it wont shrink or fade like a t-shirt.

 I was going to get the Blu-Ray.
Hopefully it's because they realized that a blu-ray can hold much more content than a DVD and they're going to add a lot more stuff to it. They had to cancel your order because that would raise the price. |

Just looked at the NBA store they have totally removed the product.
When I ordered it yesterday it was more expensive at 34.99, and the normal DVD version was 24.99.
This is very disappointing.

Just called the NBA store, they said they DVD producer "Time Warner or Warner Bros" (she wasnt sure), decided not to go Blu-ray. I told her we Laker fans are not goint to be happy, especially since Celts got there's last year. She says it doesn't make sense, and will move the complaint foward, told her hopefully enough people make are upset they end up making one?
