Billie Jean.

There are a number of songs where you hear the opening notes and you just know. Billie Jean is one of those. It's style, beat, and rhythm is the quintessential example of Michael Jackson's sound.

It doesn't hurt that his iconic performance at the Apollo, the one that defined all that was to be the Thriller hype, was this one.
