Lot of excuses for Randle already being trotted out. He's a lottery pick...he should have dominated summer league.
Kevin Durant even sucked in his summer league man. and none of the #1-6 picks this year DOMINATED. they all had flashes. Randle had more flashes than 3 guys picked ahead of him.

what do you guys think of Antoine Walker as a comparison for Doug Mcbuckets offensive game..?
Shabazz Muhammad - look at how retro his game is! he's a post-up wing player! we dont see any of those any more. i'm interested to see if he'll be able to make that work in the NBA, wing players rarely get post touches today. its probly the only shot he has at becoming a solid NBA scoring option, tho.

how great do you guys think the Greek Freak is gunna be?
just found out about this kid a couple months ago, LOL. im an idiot, and he's amazing. im all caught up on highlights, and now summer league action.
he's one of the dopest players in the world to me..
He's going to be a stud. Ridiculous athleticism. Unreal length.

He needs a real jumpshot. Once he has that, then the game gets scary. His set shot limits his offensive versatility on the floor.
Everything is a set shot, or a hard drive to the hoop. Rarely anything inbetween.
Dude needs 2 strides from the 3-point line to the cup.
i like that analysis. his shot selection is pretty predictable. the long-setup for the set shot, or a drive all the way. not enough mid range game, because he needs more of a jumper for that.
its interesting because ALOT of players in the league have gone to an in between set/jumper style shot. jumping your highest on jumpers is rarely seen anymore.
The Freak could use a bit more elevation on his tho, youre right.
Here's a youtube account that has highlights of all the dope players at Summer League. he has all their games, all their points. catch up on how they played..

He's a nice playmaker too. His length and size coupled with everything else he has? Geesh. I think this year he'll start to make big strides. In 2015-2016 though.. watch out.
Lesson learned. I'll be going for the tournament play lol. I made the critical error of going early in the summer league. Haha. I had fun though. I'm an absolute basketball junkie.
I got to sit next to Michael Carter-Williams and say a few things to him. Chris Broussard sat right behind me. I got to watch Dante Exum live in one of his first games. Saw quite a few basketball players at the same hotel I was (The Palms) I cant complain too much aha.

Actually, really impressed by Vonleh after a crap game 1. I don't see the explosivess or quickness at all, but the length and skill work is there. Great foundation to build on. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
Vonleh has the "million dollar move, nickel finish" problem in the post at this stage. If he fixes that, he'll be a beast.
I can't recall every seeing a player fully overcoming that issue. He'll be a guy that shows flashes of brilliance ever so often, but will mostly disappoint. _________________ A key that has the ability to unlock many locks is a master key. But a lock that can be opened with any key is useless.

Callme Brown comes to mind
Every once in awhile he'll put it all together. Have a game of like 35/20 and we'll all be like "damn!" But more often than not he'll have like 9/10 or some such. _________________ A key that has the ability to unlock many locks is a master key. But a lock that can be opened with any key is useless.

Jason Kidd has said that he wants to try Giannis Antetokounmpo at PG this year. That's right, a PG that is 6'11 with a 7'4 wingspan. #scary
