Great write-up DB, especially love the intros.
Maybe we should just have the PA announcer introduce Andrew as "Destruction," just to give the visiting team fair warning to flee the building. _________________ "Every time he got an offensive rebound, it was deflating," Hornets coach Monty Williams said ... Bynum +8.2
Gasol +4.2 |

Watching the games, there is no doubt that those are the 5 impact players on this team, night in and night out. They do some very good things out there for us, and aren't like some of the other guys on the team who can be valuable but of the hit or miss variety.
Bynum is also making his case for the best defensive player on the Lakers.
He is holding down guys like Bosh, Kaman and a number of other big time scorers, something we used to ask Kwame to do. Not only is he doing that, but he's also beating them up or making them pay on the other end for not putting a body on him or even playing good, strong man D on him.
Quote: | Bynum's holding players to 40.6 eFG% which is amazing for the Center position, and has a + 13.1 in the PER department. He's a 23.4 PER player when out there and his counterpart are restricted to 10.3 PER. |

It wasn't a big deal against average competition, but when he can do that stuff to a Chris Bosh, you understand why this franchise's FO believed this kid could become a dominant player one day. He can do it on BOTH ends, which is what is making his case for one of the best bigs in the NBA today. |

Excellent job, DB, as usual. I'm especially lovin' the intro. The four horsemen stuff is great! Kudos! _________________ “I’m just a basketball player, you know? Just put me where you need me.” -Lamar Odom

Power Rankings
16. Toronto Raptors — A stuck elevator might not be able to slow down Chris Bosh, but the bright lights of Los Angeles — and a few 7-footers — apparently can. [JE]

can we start the playoffs already? |
I've been feeling that way all season. 18.3 percent of the regular season now done. |
wow, not even a quarter of reg season done?!?
I think it would save me a lot of time, heart palpitations, knocks on the door from my neighbor to keep it down and not use foul language if we just start the playoffs already
oh btw...did you guys know BOSTON SUCKS!!! hope they lose tonite |

We have four players (Kobe, Bynum, Gasol, and Ariza) in the top 25 in PER... no other team even has 3. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Love seeing Sasha score some layups and getting 4 boards and 4 assists. Bynum scoring 18 and 10 while playing Bosh? Look at the points Kobe scored off of what, 14 shots? This bodes great for the Lakers; now lets go sweep this road trip. |

Mbenga -- -- With Mihm day to day still with the minor tweak, Mbenga got some rare run. He came in with 3 minutes left. Very good job swatting on a couple plays. Ugly looking shot attempt. The Stats: He didn't score on 0-1 shooting, had 2 blocks and 1 foul in 3 minutes. The Action: He did not play in the first half. Second Half: He swatted dribble penetration. He swatted another guard who tried to drive. He nearly broke the Mbackboard with a jumphook that didn't draw iron. |
Loved the intro as well... and the above had me rolling |
