Wow, The New York Times, congrats Larry.

Yes, he was. I believe he moved to NY 4 years ago. |

I got the skinny on that. There's the NYC edition, and the National edition. The National edition is the one available here. For whatever reason, it hit the NYC edition yesterday, and will be in the National edition tomorrow. So run out tomorrow & buy another one.
My local Starbucks got annoyed with me this morning when I pulled a copy off the shelf, leafed through it, and then put it back.
I'll reimburse you the $1.65, next time over lunch..... |

That is awesome Larry. Worth the wait.
Congrats man.
P.S. - From that article you linked above on ESPN:
Quote: | UPDATE: Larry Coon -- the guy when it comes to understanding the salary cap and the collective bargaining agreement -- is a Laker fan. |
Hell yes, and he even moderates LG.net!! (Can we ride Larry's coattails here and get some press?? ) |

Congrats Larry you deserve all the spotlight you get! Thank you so much for helping LG and the rest of the basketball world! _________________ Game 3 Victory in Denver . While it is a fairly thorough article, and plenty flattering, to leave out your career as a hall of fame second baseman is a pretty glaring omission. |

That tears it. Hang Larry "Coon Dawgg" Coon's jersey up in the LG Rafters. |

Flo'z -- I -did- mention LG, but it was a 90 minute interview, and I guess an important detail or two is going to slip through the cracks.... |
What I want to know is, when are you going to get a job in a NBA front office as a capologist? I know it's a hobby but since you're the expert now, I hope you get paid some. God knows there is enough money related to the NBA floating around. |
No kidding. You need an agent to turn this hobby into a money-maker. You are obviously an authority and the league office recognizes it. Maybe you should offer your services as a consultant to the NBAPA or the league office when the next CBA is negotiated. You would be an invaluable resource.
In any event, congratulations. _________________ You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously. - Richard Feynman |
