Lakers are going to have a hard time winning the division unless someone stops the Suns. They are playing without a few key players and still winning. They will have a tough January and Lakers have to catch up to them over this month before Stoudamire returns in February.

Clippers will be plagued by injuries for a while. Golden State is in a slump. Lakers have to win now, no more silly losses like the one to Washington.

There is another problem: Lakers have to win games against teams in their own division. They dropped two, they cannot be losing any games to the Suns and Clippers, especially to Golden State and the Kings. Absolutely unacceptable, Phil better drill that into their heads.

The Clippers looked to be a lock until Phoenix decided that they would win with or without Amare/Johnson/Q. If Nash can keep Phoenix at their current pace, they'll run away with the Pacific when Stoudamire returns. If we steal Artest for Devean/Slava/Kwame and junk then we'll have a shot.

If the lineups stay the same, my prediction is.

Clippers
Warriors
Lakers
Kings
