LAKERS WIN!!!

40 - 19

Ron Ron & Kobe: Co-POTG

Suck it refs!!!

I'm back... WHAT A GAME!!! Laker fans representing at the Rose Garden!!!! Sooooo nice to stick it to all the Kobe haters in that building.

GOOD JOB LAKERS!!!

Were there a lot of Kobe haters around you? What were everyone's reactions like?

Oh man there's always a bunch of loud haters, crowd chanting Kobe Sucks and people yelling rapist and crap like that, particularly in the upper section where I tend to sit. That's why for so many years I left that building so pissed I couldn't see straight. It's just talk for the most part. It seems there were more than usual Laker fans and actually some cheers when Aldridge missed his free throws. Pretty subdued in OT though. I can really REALLY get used to this Rose Garden win streak!

I almost never see any rough treatment of Laker fans once the game's over. Lots of yelling but little else. Someone threw popcorn at me once. Not the whole bag just individual pieces. I guess one time I did hear a couple drunk clowns in the mens room getting after Laker fan after a Blazer win trying to pick a fight but the guy kept his cool and I stuck around until my fellow Laker fan was out of harm's way. Rednecks who pick fights are a bit of a rarity here. Portland is actually a very peaceful town outside of the upper-level of the Rose Garden.
