Nah. It was the clock killing and finding Artest/Blake/Murphy to beat the clock that let New Jersey back into that game. They, literally, scored 2 points in the first 4 minutes of the 4th. 6 points in 7 minutes of the 4th. That was on Mike Brown. You think Sessions or Bryant or Gasol want to wait 24 seconds before they shoot? That was on Mike Brown.

Ding ding ding a ling

Add the kobe iso for every single play down the stretch.. because that's not predictable.

Kobe bailed his ass out again.

We win despite of brown.. not because of him

Yeah, tryiing to sit here and dissect isn't necessary when this is EXACTLY what happened.

Ron was setting up at the elbow where Pau should be.

Why is Ron playing a 2man game with Kobe? Why?!

It's either MB's decision or Lakers should just save themselves the trouble and amnesty Ron.

I'm not going to hate on the Lakers. They did what they normally do (surrender leads) but they won the game.

The Nets had won 4 out of 5 with one win coming against a pretty good Indiana team.

The game was VERY entertaining until the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Not sure why McRoberts didn't get more time.

Actually, I know it was Mike Brown.

Yes, sir.

82games def...
Game Winning Shot Opportunity = 24 seconds or less left in the game, team with the ball is either tied or down by 1 to 2 points.
Why use this definition?

With 24 seconds or less, then it truly is a "last possession" situation potentially
With a margin from tied to down 2, the team can take the lead with a made basket (including 3's)
By excluding a down 3 situation, we don't have the "gimme two point buckets" that defenses will sometimes yield to the quick bucket/intentional foul strategy option you often see exercised.

Wow. I guess I was wrong. Somebody tell Ming.

I don't know if that's everyone's definition...it's the one I use and makes sense

Pau was KILLING the Nets earlier from his spots.

There were also several miscues when Murphy dumped it like a hot potato as the shot clock was winding down regardless of whether or not the man he dumped it to was covered. Happened at least twice, with bad results.

MWP did hit 2 threes but I'd way rather the ball find it's way into Pau's hands like it did earlier.

Because there is no swag in bashing Murphy, Blake, MWP, Barner, or McRob.

It always is cool to bash Kobe, Pau, and Bynum.

Pau, Sessions and Kobe ALL kicked butt tonight. Out of the 8 Lakers that played tonight, they won this game. Oh, and McRoberts' stats looked awful, but reality is he did an awful lot more good than bad for the Lakers tonight.

Good. Brown gets credit for it because he hired Kuester. People will find any little thing to try and criticize Brown.

BIIIG game tomorrow. Sessions got the better of DWill although the gap closed a bit in the 4th quarter. Here's hoping Sessions holds his own against CP3 tomorrow!!

No (bleep), kuester is the main coach when it comes to offense. The rest is obviously Brown

Was pleasantly surprised to see that play. Even caught me off guard.

Phils sucked ass at the inbound plays. He seemed to have one.

Where players line up one behind another and scramble...

Same play all the time.
