Sad thing is that Nash is still going to win MVP even though he has 0 points.

Incredible.

The way the Suns play defies all logical playoff bball rules. Jump shots arent supposed to fall when the D and the pressure increase. Youre not supposed to be able to run as much and must focus on half court ball. They have no inside game, it just takes a disciplined defense and Im not sure our D is up to the task quite yet, but there are 10 games left to figure it out.

Right, because everyone knows that MVPs aren't allowed to have any bad games.

How to beat Phoenix= Play defense.

More importantly, make them play defense. If they have to expend lots of energy defending you, then they have less for running and gunning the other way. Plus, they aren't a very good defensive team. If you come down and jack up jump shots all day, then have fun watching the Suns run in transition right up your ass.

ahhhhhh, feels good when Phoenix jacking up 3s doesnt work, just keep it tight on the perimeter and no open 3s, and make sure our bigmen rebound (which they can since Suns frontcourt is puny), I seriously don't understand why Phoneix is so successful with their run and gun style, any team that doesnt play good D will NOT go far, unless other teams are dumb enough to play the same style

Well if there is any team w/ enough fire-power to overcome a 42 point lead it is definitely Pho. But it won't happen tonight.

phx did fine last season and was a joe johnson-cracked skull away from seriously challenging the spurs in the WCF's... Is that not "far"?

Well, they swept the Grizz (a team better than this year's Lakers), then beat Dallas (50+ win team) and lost to the Spurs (eventual champs). Not too bad for a team with a "hacky" offense or whatever it is called.

we shall see, we shall see, 2 games left to see what we can do against them, no use talking theorectically if the Lakers can't step it up on the court

Man, the NJ run continues. these guys are playing some great D. NJ is now on a 10 game win streak, holding teams to around 80 ppg during their streak. theyve beaten dallas, memphis, suns and pistons during their streak. last 3 games theyve played they kept all 3 opponents under 75.

Lawrence Frank has been doing a great job. that teams coming together and creeping up on people. kinda reminds me of Detroits emergence 3 years ago.
