I went to the game.
Lakers:
Bynum was dominant, especially in the 2nd half.
Farmar was excellent.
Wafer played but may as well not have.
Green made an effort but was largely ineffective.
Pinnock struggled worse than Rush did handling the ball in the two guard front.
Douthit was mediocre.
Horvath was a laughing stock.
Memphis:
Warrick was effective against the smaller Green, and he hit a couple jumpers to boot.
Roberts was OK.
Lowry did nothing to prove that he should have been drafted ahead of Farmar, who outplayed him considerably.
Alexander Johnson apparently is much better in 2-on-2 workouts than in 5-on-5 games.
It's summer league, so most of the above is meaningless.
I'm going to sleep. |
