I don't get it, was hoping we go for a 3 or a 7 footer. We go pick another tweener who is unheard of when Looney was still left on board. What the hell is Mitch doing? _________________ My Dream Starting 5 next Season

Why pick this kid here? First round = guaranteed contract. Not sure what Lakers are thinking, but let's hope their basketball genius minds shine through. |

He's a good defender, with a motor, high basketball IQ, and could possibly end up as a 3 point shooter so I'm cool with him.

After seeing that tweet, I hope he never plays a minute for us. Great high character pick by the Lakers. _________________ Go LA! |

Nance was the biggest reach so far in the draft per DraftExpress.
They had him going #54.
Lakers take him at #27 |

Nice job, Nance. He's going to get the Samaki Walker treatment from the Mamba. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

No not this time. Apparently the Lakers go by workouts and don't watch any games. |

He will become one of your favorite players... already the best defender on the Lakers. |

You will all love this kid. He is tough and extremely versatile. He rebounds and hustles and can score from all over the court.
I don't follow much college ball otherwise so I cannot say how he compares to who was left on the board...but he is a player to be sure. |
Saw a few clips... my thoughts the same. Could be a very interesting energy guy off the bench that can attack, shoot 3's, defend, and flat out hustle.
Good genes, size, length, and leaping ability. _________________ #11/08/16 America became GREAT again
