yeah usually when someone makes it to the "top" of their profession as a comedian... they are pretty damn quick on their feet. I'm sure all the "legends" of comedy would be able to handle someone like that. _________________ How can I get a copy of a Laker game played on Sunday, March 11, 2001 Sonics/Lakers? I know it's easy to say having not been in his shoes but the guy was working off notes... and like GonzagaAlum said someone else probably could of handled Jamie. And I agree with TooCool that that was a bit too far... the guy really didn't insult Jamie...

I think what may have pissed Jamie off, aside from the guy going after him with the "Ali" comment, was the cocaine comment to Michael Irvin. Plus, why did he even start going after those sitting up front? Why couldn't he come up with some original material? Maybe because he didn't have any. I thought it was hilarious. Lesson learned hopefully.
Jamie Foxx did go overboard....but why wouldnt he?
That guy was supposed to be talkin' about E. Smith. Plus all his jokes were way too personal. Jamie saved face for himself and all his panel. _________________ Panthas

That's what people do at roasts. It's not just the guy being roasted that gets it. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks
lol, I just remembered Jamie calling him Doug Christie at the end instead of Williams.
Anyway, after he took his seat, he should have took his mic and done the same to Jamie... at the end of the show so Foxx wouldn't have been able to retaliate.
the guy had it coming. he was sucking up there. his jokes weren't funny and he was absolutely bombing. Jamie did him a favor and actually made the whole thing funny.
Foxx is a dumbass. He blows as an actor, and tries to hard with that "one" look he always plays. The guy was having a rough night. Foxx's conscious crap wasnt even funny, he dragged that crap asmuch as the dummy on the podium. The only reason the panel laughed at Foxx was because it was there way to gang up on the guy making fun of them
Fat ass shaq and his stupid toe..
ONe thing though,,, You can tell a comedian is falling apart , when every other word in his sentence is a cuss word.
there goes his chance of ever making a living out of comedy. dam jamie is good to pull something like that on the spot i give it to him. _________________ Jerome James being asked what he thought about his coach calling him selfish, his response was:
