|
|
Im looking to get a baby monitor for my little girl(due in aobout 3 weeks )
Ive seen some video/audio monitors that look really cool .And Id would like to see my baby instead of just listening to her.
Has anyone purchased one of these? IF so, where can i get a good deal? Im looking on ebay, but theres so much stuff, i dont know whats good and whats not.
ALso, if i go straight audio, Ive read from target customer reviews, that some monitors pick up static because of a wireless phone. Any experience on that?
Thanks Fellas. |

I've never had much issue with audio-only baby monitors. The ones 10+ years ago sucked ass because of the general frequency being used. They're pretty good now...about as much static or "other calls" you would pick up on a cordless land-line.
If you really wanted video, I'd consider a wired (or wireless) webcam or something like it. You'd probably be able to put the together cheaper with the right components. You'd either need a new HDTV (or something similar) that may allow for such a feed...or just simply a laptop you could get a constant video feed to. _________________ Free advertising in Jefe's signature. Check out the 900 MHz Mobicam at Costco.com. It's only $129 until the 24th. _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Here's a tip. Don't get rid of the monitor once she's to old. You will want to use it again when she turns 16 and starts dating!

Nah - By then you'll be able to implant a transmitter in your child's brain that will record and show you everything they see, and let you hear everything they hear while they're away from you. It'll also obviously be equipped with GPS. Sort of like a black box for kids. _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.
