Congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinals and their fans.

Somewhere Tommy Herr, Jack Clark, Vince Coleman, Lonnie Smith, Willie McGee, Terry Pendleton, Tommy Hendrick, Darrell Porter, Tito Landrum, Cesar CedeƱo and others are smiling and partying and celebrating the Cardinals win. Congratulations.

Nice to see a couple of SoCals, Jeff Weaver and Jim Edmonds win a title.

Let's go farther back than that, to the team I fell in love with that lost to the Tigers in the Series. Cepeda, Javier, Maxvill, Shannon, Flood, Brock, Maris, McCarver, Carlton, and Gibson. Last night was a good night to get tanked and run around the neighborhood naked (it's ok, some of my neighbors are Cards fans). I was in Busch for the last out of Game 7 in 1982, wish I was in the new park last night. I talked to a friend who was, and he said it was crazy.

As Jack would have said, "That's a winner!".
