PostPosted: Mon May 22, 2017 10:22 am    Post subject: 2017 NBA Draft - Mock Ups compilation

Here listed are various 2017 NBA Draft Mock ups. Will try to update as they change, or as new ones are found. Please note, I will only include those not hidden behind a paywall. And only listing top 10 selections. Click the links for more, including text descriptions of each choice.

If I missed any, please let me know and I will include it in the first post.

If edits are made, I will edit or keep copies of both to show changes (as I can keep up or as people notify me).

It takes me roughly 2-3 hours to come up with a Top 30 list for the 1st round.

To me, some of the most interesting draft questions this year aren't who goes 1/2 (it seems like it will be Fultz/Ball by most observers) but instead the following:

1. Who goes first between Kentucky teammates Fox and Monk? I would guess Fox, but we will see...the mocks vary.

2. Who will be on the board when the Lakers draft at 28? Some very exciting potential talents to be sure.

3. What will Philadelphia and Boston do? This is the draft where both will choose a clear direction going forward as I see it.

Thoughts?

Added each draft's choice for the #28 selection by the Lakers.

Also updated CBS Sports' first draft prediction, which had Tatum going #1 originally. They switched it to Fultz.

1. Good question. I'm going to guess Monk goes first.
2. Who knows. Keep your eye on tony Bradley from UNC as a possible steal.
3. As for Boston, no brainer. Fultz is the guy. As for philly, Jackson or Tatum. Were it me, Jackson would be the pick.

Reid Forgrave of CBS Sports delves deeper into the draft, projecting potential trades that shake up the draft order

For example, he posits Indiana trades Paul George to the Celtics for the #1 spot, and other trades throughout. I won't list this like I did the other draft predictions, but I link it here.
