They sucked with him and they’ll suck without him. It’s a win win for me. _________________ "The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be.", said Bret Hart regarding the Los Angeles Lakers.

So after their Staples Center lease expires in 2024 will Ballmer sell or relocate to Vegas or Seattle, not sure if his Inglewood vision will pan out if his team returns to second fiddle to certainly strong Lakers by then.

The Clippers were never going to beat Golden State. Of course they could still blow it by missing on their picks, but they won this trade. Not sure what Detroit is doing here.
This is actually bad news for the Lakers. Would be better if the Clippers were stuck with that contract.

Danny Manning still remains the greatest clipper of all time. _________________ "The best there is. The best there was. The best there ever will be.", said Bret Hart regarding the Los Angeles Lakers.
Disagree
They got something for an asset that was otherwise leaving for nothing
Let's see if Pelinka gets anything for Randle etc...
Who is Wolfpacklaker talking about?
No one. He posted without the glaring fact that Blake signed a monster deal this off-season after a song and dance that was put on neon signs by ESPN. Never happened before. Nope. _________________ KOBE

I think he was referring to that the Clips were facing two things: 1) Losing Blake for nothing last offseason 2) Capping themselves out with a Blake who wasn't going to lead them anywhere but mediocrity, and then choosing option 3) signing Blake to a monster deal and then dumping him for assets.
A big Thriller laugh goes out to these bastards. My neighbor, a Clippers bandwagoneer, is now back rooting for the Lakers. (bleep) that mofo, and (bleep) Doc lo _________________ "I got a hand that'll rock ya cradle, cream ya like cheese, spread ya on my bagel." - Shaq, 1992.

And in this case they actually got something for him. This was actually a good deal for the Clippers despite the setback from dealing somebody who was one of the faces of the Clippers.

Yep, it was a salary dump. This puts them in play for this summer. Even if they strike out they are also a factor in the NBA draft this off season. They can properly rebuild instead of being stuck in between first round elimination and missing the playoffs. Ballmer and his pocketbook are probably thankful for this. Imagine if they got lucky in the draft and got somebody like a Trae Young.

Ha ha!
I can always tell which east coast hipsters have moved to my neck of the woods over the past 4 years by the fact that they are wearing Clipper hats. The universe is now back in balance- Clipper hats will now be gathering dust in their closets next to their cheap neon sunglasses and mustache wax. Go Lakeshow! _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss

Yeah I doubt when Blake signed in the off-season, people here were saying “Oh no they locked him up. Blake is going to win championships for them now.”
The best Blake could do is give them 50 win seasons.
