No you’re right. We played amazing and just lost to a better team. I don’t know what I was thinking. |

What’s obviously frustrating is that KD didn’t play all that spectacular and the Lakers still found a way to lose by bench players no less. |

Especially Ingram. If he’s ready to go against the Heat, why wouldn’t he be ready to go tonight?
Whatever. |
Maybe but I don't know if it really says much if in the hypothetical, one team gets to erase injuries and the other doesn't. |

Iggy, Livingston, Bell, Zaza are d-leaguers?
What does that make Wear, Derrick Williams, Ennis and Zubac? _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot

I sense this typing style will get a mandatory vacation soon as a welcome to LG. |

Luke: that was disrespectful how GS beat our ass like a drum when they were down 3 players. GS didn't even pretend to roll over. |

Think you guys might be doing a lil too much belly aching.. We're missing two starters and a key contributer and still managed to compete.
We'll be fine.. |

That’s true and all but their bench players are NBA champions, ours is young G League talent.
I’m not even frustrated about this game. I expected a poor performance from our young injury depleted team on a back to back away from home.. |

If the fight between Randle and IT is “nothing“ they’ve been going on about it for quite some time now on spectrum sportsnet. |

I wouldn’t make much of the Randle/Thomas situation
I’ve seen a lot of good chemistry between them on the court. Just 2 fiery guys that want to win.. |

Nothing meaningful or insightful. Basically they were just going on about how that’s the way it is with teams. One minute you’ll be fighting and the next minute you go to dinner together. But if the team doesn’t put it behind them then it can split the locker room. But back in my day that’s just the way that vet players handled it. These new kids take it as disrespect but it’s not disrespect. I played with XYZ veteran player and they were tough on us. Back in my day you have a fight and then go get a beer afterwards.
just... yeah...
It was a bit “he doth protest too much”-esque |

I played with my bestfriend on our hs team and got into it before. Squabbed with him and all. Still love the man like a brother to this day.
Point is, if great friends can get into it over the game, anyone can. I leave it at that.. |

Just a tired team that didn’t play good enough defense.
Hopefully get BI and Kuz back and get a win against the struggling Heat.
It is annoying how Casspi is a scrub against every team but the lakers. Never fails... |

You can go on YouTube and watch them get into it. I’m pretty good at lip reading, at the end
Isiah - “Don’t QUIT! That’s all I’m talking about. That’s it!” Julius just ignored him.
Randle was soft tonight defensively, IT...for all his faults...is a dog out there. A small, slightly out of control dog. |

It was the freethrows.
Each of our players need to establish a routine for these free points we leave on the floor. Slow. It. Down. No one is rushing you except yourself at the line. Two dribbles, flex the knees and goose head. Don’t think about it, just do it until you can make em with your eyes closed.
These should be automatic by the end of summer. You get beat up for the right to get to the line. Make it worth it.
Good effort tonight on the defensive end.
PS, Zo... bruh, the passing up of easy layups for the contested threes... makes me cringe when it works, and it frustrates me when it fails. Fine tune that contextual awareness. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL |
