+1 in all the best ways. You and Mike have a great rapport and it makes for a great listen. I appreciate the analysis you both offer. Just seems like an example of coaching the team you want instead of the team you have. |

Agreed. Or building a roster with the same mindset. _________________ Under New Management |

I feel like the Lakers as an organization are one of the worst franchises LATELY with regards to developing young/drafted talent into legitimate superstar/all star/ or all NBA level players. Andrew Bynum is the only recent player that comes to mind as someone drafted and developed into a legitimate force in the league. Although it's still early for this young group, I'm uneasy whether any will turn into actual all star/all nba talent. We just seem to cycle through the Jordan clarksons, d'angelo russells, etc. The clock is ticking for BI, hart, kuz etc.
I see a lot of other young guys in the league taking big strides that have been drafted/developed with other organizations and are at or near all star/all nba level, kawhi, dbook, embiid, kat, etc.
We need to change something with the way we develop these young guys. Hopefully I am wrong and either BI, kuz, hart or lonzo turns into a near all star or all nba this year. |

The frustrating thing is Luke saying he wants Kuz to fill in Randle's role from last year. That is infuriating on a few different levels. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

I think this does have some merit. It seems like every year they play some young player out of position. Kelly at 3, making Clarkson a scorer instead of a playmaker, D'lo a playmaker instead of a scorer, Nance and now Kuz at the 5. Head scratching. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |
